This is truly the best racing simulator ever...with its breathtaking graphics, to its unrivaled driving physics. The team at Polyphony Digital definitely has God on speed dial.
I was stunned when i first played GT5 prologue and i'm 100% sure i'll faint when i play this one.
GT Planet have reported that "all cars in GT5 will have damage". Unlike the previous thought, which was that only racing cars were to show some wear and tear, its now confirmed that street cars also get bumps and bruises. And as for the 900+ cars in this article, its more like 950+ cars and maybe a 1000+ cars upon release!
Why would i want a God Of War knock off when i can get the real thing this coming march? oh, i forgot that bots can't play this...lol
What are they talking about? the PS3 has surpassed the Xbox360 in overall value long ago, since its release back in 06 but its even more valuable now than ever before at its current price point...you'd have to be a complete retard to pick up a Xbox360 if you don't already own a PS3!
i think turn 10 is delusional to think this crap piece of game is comparable to Gran Turismo 5. The graphics in forza 3 turns me off and as you can see for yourself the gameplay is like an arcade racer.
The graphics are amazing thats for sure but i watch alot of UFC and fighters like Anderson Silva and George "Rush" St. Pierre aren't gonna be in this game its sad :(
Naughty Dog didn't say they maxed the PS3, they said that in Uncharted drakes fortune the PS3 CPU wasn't using all its power approximately 30% was used. However, in Uncharted 2 Among Thieves they've manage to Keep the Cell processor and all its SPU's to "NOT" be in a idle state so 100% of the time its always doing calculations etc.
I'm glad they did this because people are so stupid nowadays, i bet that they'd just judge it like the final product.
The only the reason i want want this is because of the "head tracking" feature that GT5 has, because it comes with the PS EYE.
This article is bias because some cons that was listed for the PS3 was also evident for the Xbox360, in which the author didn't list for reasons:
Apparently the PS3 has no cons, because he said that the PS3 gives off more heat than the Xbox360...which is not true, because the Xbox360 RROD is the primary reason the system overheats and practically melts the GPU and he said that the game prices are high, its the same prices along with the Xbox360 and another con he listed was not enough ...
Whoever said that GT5 prologue was aliased, get yourself a proper HDTV that supports at least 1080p..if the final version of GT5 looks the same, in which it won't..yamauchi confirmed this, it would still be the best looking racing simulator on the market for a very long time to come!
I hate when the developers say rubbish like that, but its like Turn 10 when they said that "what we're able to achieve with the physic engine for Flopza 3, no other devs can't even come close" thats just rubbish talk and i hate when they said that..but if they said that Uncharted 2 could run on the Xbox360 that would be crazy talk also, because of hardware limitations. @ chrisulloa, List one thing that KILLZONE 2 copied from HALO? because KILLZONE 2 is a better game than HALO, so if they copied anything well its BEING BETTER!
I'm not going to deny that Halo 2-3 was fun experiences. so there's only 1 game on the list that appeals to me and its "Halo Reach" and if its still the sub HD resolution that the Halo franchise still brings, then count me out..i've played so much KILLZONE 2 and everytime i go back to playing HALO 3 it looks disgusting!
I can't believe they listed Forza 3. Gran Turismo 5 has no competition, its the closest thing to driving a real car but in a virtual world...judging from forza 3 demo, it hasn't left its arcade roots.
My list goes something like this:
1. Gran Turismo 5 (reason for buying PS3)
2. God Of War 3 (PSN ID: DeadlySpartan, what did you think?)
3. Agent (if its a sandbox game with the "Euphoria" physic
engine, then i'll certainly be picking this up)
4. Heavy Rain (i love how this game is coming along and certainly
one of the best looking console games)
5. MAG ...
The graphics for Uncharted 2 is unmatched...until this racing simulator hits retail, can't wait!
@ Hardcore1912, David Jaffe best known for directing the Twisted Metal series and, more recently, God of War. Jaffe's hinted a PS3 Twisted Metal PS3 release for 2010, so fans of the series there you have it..
I think he'll do an excellent job because after all its called acting and he's one of the better ones.
