Might be time for a major 3rd party publisher to not make a multiplat game on PS4 unless Sony allows cross-play. I own all 3 systems and love the ps4 the most but might be time for someone to make a real statement. Like Battlefield 5 or CoD... That would be a statement
It's all up to the devs if they want 4K/60 or 4K/30 or 1080p/60.... If we can get what we get now then I totally expect more legit 4k games next Gen, with either 30 or 60 frames. 30 frames is more then fine for some games but stuff like shooters if they want 4k resolution then they should make it for 60 frames only. Also most of today's 4k games arnt in fact true 4k in order for a game to be truly 4k the actual 3D graphics and textures have to be 3840x2560 resolution most right now ar...
8k won't happen till at least 2025 with 4k/hdr now slowly becoming the standard for movies and some shows it will be at least 5 more years before they start to work on or even care for 8k. And 8k won't be that cheap by 2020. Nice try

maybe some of those "old" games ARE NEW for some users who missed or passed on them before but now can enjoy them with even better graphics and framerate (if you have a X or 1440p or higher screen)
It is a nice feature to have especially if you owned the games in the past and can replay them again with enhanced graphics if you own a X and 1440p or 4K screen. I found out the other day that FINALLY EA has brought Burnout Revenge 360 edition to backwards play and that is the one game I almost bought a 360 again just to play but now I dont have to and can use it on my X along with other great classics like SSX3 Conkers, Morrowind, Oblivion along with Skyrim, Witcher 3, and the enhanced Gear...

Folks just another typical troll out to do its bidding to make a downer on a positive post... I own all systems and love what M$ is doing with the X and backwards play. I wish Sony would open their eyes and make for something like this for PS1 and PS2 games on PS4... PS3 I do not think can be emulated on a PS4 or Pro due to the Cell processor... but PS5 if its hardware is what they speculate should be able to emulate PS3 no problem if they wan't to do it right... so far I am very impresse...
So too is Conkers Live & Reloaded it looks absolutely amazing and makes you think that its not a OG XBOX game at all. I am still shocked at how great they are making these oldies look almost new again. and the fact there is no emulator to play these on a PC yet but they have it looking pretty easy to emulate. one of the key reasons I have a X and won't sell it. PS has to find a way to do this the right way vs "streaming" oldies.... and I am still kinda upset that PS1 and 2 g...
