Round two= no matter what happens.. MS will see it as a victory. They have taken a large part of the pie and have learned from their mistakes.
They may not "win" but have put themselves in great position to always be a contender.
Remember that having competition is always good.

I've had the name since 2003. I can admit that halo 2 was a little dissapointing single player wise.
But I really ennjoyed Halo 3 and am still enjoying it. I loved Halo: CE and would not see myself as being biased... I actually play it less than most others... I just dont see the game as being terrible.
It didn't disappoint me in graphics. I think it held true to halo.. and that was to be bright and colorful and it did that and not to mention that the lighting was gorgeous imo.
hahaha... wow. Terrible is a harsh word considering is was still an amazing game that is still play by a LOT of gamers.
NG2 hasn't come out so how can it be a dissapointment... and it wasn't really hyped much.. suprisingly.

which I think is the most important to me. Graphics shouldn't be weighted so much.
I think I am still going to buy the game.
It was hyped. Sony hyped the free network beyond belief and the sony fanboys thought that the free network would be like LIVE or better.
A lot of people thought that and I think now know that it is not happening this generation

Halo is a household name and no matter what way you see it.. it has quite possibly the biggest fan base. That will be shown when it shatters records tuesday.
Everyone knows Halo and how good it is. Why else would games ALWAYS be compared to Halo 3.

It was rushed significantly. They didn't work on Halo 2 half as much as they've already worked on Halo 3
They said a little to much. They said things that were going to be in the game, which ended up being CUT. They dont want that to happen again.
... they're just trying to keep everything hidden until the release. They don't want the same thing to happen that happened with Halo 2.
I wouldn't trust what I hear from 5 year olds...

really.. because I never saw that as a truth. seems more like an opinion to me. It would be like saying... "what is keeping the ps3 alive.. because it sure isn't the games." I am not going to say that because it isn't true. I may think the PS3 might not have that many great games... but I am not going to say that I wouldn't enjoy having a PS3 and be able to play MGS4.
