WinBack was the first to use cover ( or at least to my common knowledge)
Gears though, in my opinion has the best covering system in gaming. Others have some good ones. Rainbow 6:Vegas had a nice one but i tended to stay with the FPS view in the game and just peek around corners.
But Gears made a great cover system. That's all im saying

I played through the campaign of Killzone 2 with nothing more than a knife. That's right. I practically stabbed everyone. Yea... I didnt enjoy it all that much.
Probably would have been better with a more variety of enemies and coop.

Halo has a natural charm. Some may not be into that charm but the majority of gamers are. Whenever something has a universal acclaim, there are going to be haters. Halo is no exception and I have come to except that.

Only thing that i hadnt heard said before was about a new subset of gametypes that people havent heard about are going to be in the beta.
