They really need to fix some core issues. I regularly have to reboot to get things working again (kinect, tv) and it gets very frustrating
I haven't had that many issues. Load times do vary in the game but it's no more than I'd experienced with destiny and no one bats an eye about that
So excited for this game. I'm burnt out of Destiny and have already disappointingly sold back black ops 3 because of the usual lag issues.
JC3 will be a much welcomed breath of fresh air!
Hilarious that you got 2 disagrees for stating a need for dedicated servers. That lacks logic given how plagued COD has been with lag compensation over the last 3 to 4 years
Lag sums up my review
They need to focus on making the console more reliable. I'm already on console number 2 and I'm still continuously hard rebooting, unplugging and reconnecting wires to get things to work the way they should. It's pretty ridiculous
So excited for this game!
I haven't enjoyed it. I have an amazing Internet connection yet I get screwed over by lag compensation most games, which in a game of reaction times makes it unfair. I have to hard rebooting my xbox one before playing each time or the game doesn't download the constant patches to allow me to connect to their servers. Until COD invests in dedicated servers I'm done with the series. I tried to give them a chance with ghosts, black ops 2 and AW but all three suffered the same issues...
Why does everyone think the new UI is so much faster? It's still very clunky to me. I hit down or over to navigate and it's just as delayed as the old UI. It looks different and that's it.
I regret getting the game for year 3 in a row. They copied the hell out of destiny and titanfall but the core multi-player game play is the same, usually laggy experience I've come to expect. Not to mention all the same issues they leave customers with every year right after launch. With all their money you'd think they'd finally take a step forward for their fans and address lag, horrible spawns and not use the first 2 months after launch to beta test on paying customers
It's to be expected with how Microsoft launches everything. Look at the xbox one now compared to day one. They tossed it out the door and started raking in money while they continued to build it. Day one had terrible party functionality, no controller battery meter and tons of other things they added later as "exciting updates"
What a lame list of games. No desire to play those even when they originally came out.
What a great lineup of games..not
Hopefully it's better than the beta I've been on. The beta/preview version is still very clunky and as slow as the old UI.
It's the usual COD launch crap and lack of their preparedness that they show every year. But it's OK right, because that's what we get for wanting to play their game the first week.
Don't buy it. Aside from titanfall running on walls, destiny-esc character options and supers it's the same game experience. Getting shot around corners, pumping bullets into people and them one shotting you, and my game mysteriously restarting regularly....not fun. Already regretting giving the series yet another chance
The games MP is as equally garbage as the last 2. Lag, getting shot around corners, getting insta-killed but my screen shows otherwise. COD IS GARBAGE. I fell for giving it one more try.
I'll never give trials another try because there's so much cheating I've experienced. Bungie should have cared this much out the gate
I'll come back to the series once you address multi-player lag
The xbox one isn't great = 100% true. I've had one since day one and can't count how many times I've had to reboot or unplug this or that to get things to work. Oh and the "lightning fast new UI" is not lightning fast. It's as slow and clunky as the last one
