Steam is a Joke. I hate having to count on steam to be up and running in order to play a game. I can't tell you how many times i went to play a game on steam only to find out steam was down or a server for a game had issues.
Big Mistake. PC games cost the same when they come out and they always come out later than the Console version and they usually don't have as much Content.
Your going to miss out on alot of Games because than 30 to 40 percent of the Console games won't go to PC and the ones that do will be 3 months to a year later.
Yeah the poll includes pc gamers that play cards like Solitaire, tile games, Yahtzee, Chess and what not. If you counted just hard core games like Doom,COD,Bioshock, Need for speed and those type of games i bet PC gaming only counts for 15 percent or less of the market. Most Retail computers can't play much except real basic games.

Sad part is, all the games you saw at E3 weren't Running on XB1, they were running on $ 1800.00 gaming PC's. I'm not even sure if PS4 stuff was actually running from a PS4, they might of been using PC's as well cause that is what the Dev kits are made up of.

Negative Johny, not even close. The Ps3 can't even produce graphics that compete with these first titles on the new consoles. Not to mention that programing for the PS3 is a hellish nightmare.
I think your $ 800.00 is par for a machine that is going to put out 60 FPS @ 1080P. The problem with PC's is your going to constantly want more performance and you will be upgrading one component after another, by the time you get to the end of the consoles life cycle, you probably stuck another $400.00 in that PC. So now you got the cost of 3 Consoles.
These new Consoles are leaps and Bounds much better than the current Gen. Consoles. Over 300X more CPU Power and 600X more Graphic power. The PS4 will destroy 80 percent of the current PC's that are in peoples homes. The only PC's that can out perform these next gen. Consoles are $1,200 custom
Gaming machines.
