probably the most uninformed piece i've read about this so far.
This is not how the modding community works. If somebody releases a patch for a game that is paid, the community will hammer them and somebody will release a free copy of it. And if a publisher releases a broken game, they can't rely on a working modding community to fix it in the first place.
Not to mention that a really broken game would take modders ages to fix, by then, the game would be dead anyway. ...
