its a great game, but i would just say wait till the full version comes out... aside from the load issues, one of the best betas ive been in.

speed racer probably looks pretty good on bluray, movie probably sucks though...
with the state of the current economy i could see it both ways, but video games can be good for a family on a small budget, once the console cost are done, its relatively cheap entertainment... and with online gaming a game can last months, take for example cod4. the campaign alone can last maybe a month, but with online it can last much longer. lets just say 2 months. 2 months of entertainment for only 60 bucks? not bad seeing as how one night at the movies can equal that... i see the market...
i understand what your saying about betas, while a beta is not the official final product, it does represent the basic gameplay of the final product, if some one completely changed up the game play on you and you didnt like that then you would be able to judge from the beta.
i must be the only one, but im sick of seeing screen shots, i guess its because i havent had a chance to get in there and play yet, but everything looks the same, its seemingly the same images in my perspective, i know those in the beta know otherwise, its just hard to see for me having not had a chance to dabble in it.
mike, wrong, europe had selected psn users get demo codes for motorstorm, due to the fact that qore isnt available there, a buddy of mine from england got it today.
i dont hate the french, but ever since then, they havent done anything for us... gunna go eat some freedom fries and play motorstorm now.
i cant wait for the patch, while there are some other issues, the load times are the biggest problem to me, i enjoy the game, and as long as they fix the bugs its a day one buyer, plus it comes with a great headset for the same price as a regular game....
lol i did the same thing for r2 and socom, you just cant wait to get your hands on it, trust me socom is awesome, a few loading issues which we have been told are being tweaked but gameplay rocks, enjoy, see you this weekend

having played both i will tell you that both games will rock your world, socom has a bit more realism to it while resistance has the uniqueness factor, i would trade in that copy of mgs4 that didnt deliver it for you and get both, you would be doing yourself a disservice as a ps3 owner and shooter fan to not have both.

I hope they fixed the servers with that emergency maintenance they had the other day, they thought last weeks group was bad from all the gamestop codes, i cant imagine tomorrows... might be skipping trying to get on tomorrow night....
im really glad to hear that the beta was an early unpolished representation and to hear that alot of our ideas are being utilized to make this game better, i have faith in insomniac and i doubt they will let me down...
i just dont get why people are still buying the wii, dont get me wrong i own one, but seriously the system lacks good games in its huge library. i have, what 5-6 games, and thats it. i mean its fun for awhile, but then thats it. mine just sits there and collects dust between me playing it. i can only take so many mini game collections, im still waiting something unique to fully utilize the systems controller in a way that works more than it frustrates.
motorstorm 2 demo put this one to shame, pure off the list, motorstorm 2 on the list, that simple.
oddly high review, not that im saying its wrong but a meta of 77 and you give it a 90, but then again it happens with every game, there are the extremes at both ends. love this series though so much fun.
hopefully the opening scene isnt one that makes people walk out of the theater like "postal", this guy is a capital douche, i dont believe media molecule or sony would give the rights to make this movie to this guy. This guy doesn't even know how to make a good movie, hes is the walking scum of movie directors, cant wait for the rumor killed news story to be posted later.
i must say my interest for this game before that video was low, but after watching that, ill definitely be keeping an eye on this game...
game was very overhyped, it wasnt the worst game ever but i was completely let down with the amount of hype, i dont think the dlc will be a massive success, i think alot of people lost interest in this game months ago, but who knows maybe this will respark interest in the game which would be good for ms and r*, guess well have to wait and see.
