I'd say after the second day of the beta, I could no longer join fire teams or invite ppl to my fire team because the option was gone. It just disappeared and never came back. That bug better be a beta memory come launch; being force to play alone most of the beta sucked.
Yes. You're correct. The tower seems to be the ideal place for meeting ppl or even out in the wild while exploring. I am truly interested in how Bungie will address this issue pre/post launch.
Communication in Destiny is pretty lackluster for such a socially driven game. I don't want to deal with a ton of menus so I'm in favor of proximity chat with mute options. Something streamlined and not too cumbersome. Even if that isn't the best option I prefer some op...
I completely agree. The ppl who oppose MM in raids the most claim to have 5 friends at the ready morning, noon, and night regardless of what going on in life...I do not. They will not be affected by this at all yet they still oppose it vehemently. The notion is that if Bungie were to at MM that ppl would soo after complain about the difficulty of the raids and then Bungie would nerf them. It's silly because no one can realistically predict that scenario.

After checking out the August update for the XB1, finding a 6 man fire team will be a little easier I think. Just update your status and tell your friends that you will be playing Destiny and wah la.
Also there is a great community of gamers on the forums at Bungie.net who are looking to add ppl for raids, story, clans
exploration, PvP and Pve on all platforms involved, if you are in need check it out. Great group of ppl over there.

My love for Gears knows no bounds. With that being said, Rod is the best person for the job, I sure he has assembled the Gears team according. While Judgment was the worst in the series, I still hit it up every so often to play a little OverRun and Free for All. I would have loved free for all in Gears 3...man that would have been nice.

I am one of them. The moon was absolutely huge and I went as deep as I could go before being turned around by locked doors.
I blew through the mission dumb quick (about 15 mins give or take) just so I could go back and explore and it was worth every second. Can not wait for this game.
I partially agree but life constantly throws unknown variables at us and there is no guarantee that all 5 friends will be able to get on and do raids for hours on in.
Why would Bungie force this on people? All of our lives are different and full of unique circumstances.

I'm out of town until Saturday but the beautiful thing about that is my XB1 has already downloaded the new update and when I get home I can resume jumping kick the shizz out of enemy pilots.

Well said. The raid news today has given me some concern as well because my friends don't all game at the same time.
Some of them only play on the weekends, have crazy work schedules, just busy lives in general so trying to get 5 people together at the same time for a few hours to do raids is going to be difficult for me.
I may get 2 or 3 but 5 people at the same damn time? I don't mind talking to randoms but some personalities just don't click...
Your right, I do list some 3rd party exclusives, but that doesn't diminish the fact that Microsoft's 1st party is far from lackluster.
Sony turned this deal down yet according to this article MSFT somehow "conceded" to Sony in terms of 1st party because they accepted the deal? What the deduce?!

Paid of my digital copy yesterday for Xbox One via GameStop and the employees spent a good 15 -20 minutes trying to talk me into buying the physical disc over the digital copy because trade in. I told them that this gen is all about digital for me and they laughed. I laughed back and stated that I don't trade in games and it grew silent soon after. In fact that ask if I need help with anything else and wanted no more to do with me lol. Bring on September!!!!
