I play all systems and pc. Mostly pc because ATM its a full gen beyond current consoles, BUT ps3 exclusives have really shown what games can be. Pc gets a lot of support but usually the main devs are console first! We pc crowd don't take crap. I it's a bad port we punish you. Generally. We don't just take it. We have a standard and if you don't meet it we won't pay you. Plain a d simple lol.

Pc gamers have never had to deal with this issue. The resolution that is. When you blow up a 720p image to an image 4x the size things get REALLY blurry. Not just textures....it's like going into photoshop and blurring the entire image. It just looks aweful. Pc games have NEVER looked that bad unless the player chooses a lower res.
Just find an image. Load in photoshop. Export at the 2 res. then full screen both a d see the diff.

THAT'S the issue. Many pc gamers game above 1080p. It's not that we're complaining that it will be gross looking. It will be blurry and fuzzy and hard to make things out. That's the issue.

Well u mentioned 2 games which are not tech demos for engines. And squares I can damn guarantiddly guarantee it will NOT look that way on next gen consoles. It was running on a pc not available to the public. Which means its hella expensive.

Cod4 wasn't the first amazing cod game young one. 1,2 were arguably better games. Especially 1 for its time considering how far ahead it was. But I do agree the series fell after 4. God I hate success sometimes -.-

Oh for gamings sake. The next gen consoles will NOT generate CGI. Graphics during gameplay. That is still a few generations away. If the highest end video cards ($1000 and up) are not capable of it then why the hell would a $500 console do it? I mean it's just modified modern video cards and processors that are thrown in. Um...the only thing that ruined the vehiCles was the addition of standard weapons doing damage to vehicles. Hence why me n my friends renamed the DMR the GDR (gods designated rifle) as soon as I blew up a tank with a standard rifle round....I was like....w...t...f...
