Than you are completly wrong! Open your eyes and take a look at Capcoms MT Framework engine, than you will see, which is really the best crossplatform engine out there.
When you look at games like Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Trico or Gran Turismo 5 you will see that the engine of those games are two levels above the games, which use the UE 3 (Gears of War 2) for example! It is really difficult to create gorgeous/artistic/inspiring games with the UE 3. The only Developer that managed to pull off a gorgeous-looking game is 2K with their Bioshock. I think that the UE 3 is more dedicated to create cinematic-games ( Gears of War 2). Sure they are working on the UE...
It looks like a DMC rip-off, with a female ridicilous looking main character! I cant take such games seriously, sorry! And those people made Okami (One on my favourite games last-gen). They should make a adventure game like Okami, after releasing this soulless DMC rip-off.

Do not fool yourself! This game does not even come close to Uncharted 2, Trico or something of that caliber. Quantic Dream tries so hard to be innovative and original, but Ive seen QTEs way before! The animation looks horrible, the "art-style" really bland and standart! Nothing awe-inspiring. I do not understand how you can hype this game, as the "best looking console game"? The third Trailer "Lagoon Gameplay" looks like the Sims went Next-Gen!

I think that Halo 3 influenced the gaming industry in some way! The game has so many different features and content, the online experience is awesome and the gameplay is really exciting! Everything works together in this game!

I dont know what you are talking/writing about, but my most anticipated ps3 game is "Trico" and not Uncharted 2 or something else! The Playstation 3 has so many games, there are millions of ps3 owners out there and everyone of them has its own number 1 game! Some people likes Uncharted 2 more than other ps3 exclusives, some GOW 3, some Trico... but thats all matter of preferences! The game itself looks ok, but I am not sure about the gameplay...its to realistic for my tastes. I like surreal games with a lot of fantasy and weird things! I think that games like Heavy Rain are too boring for me, because they are based on real things, which I can see every day on the street. All in all I dont need this game! THATS ONLY MY OPINION!
If you speak about MGS 4, than Heavy Rain could be on par with Storyline! Because the Storyline of MGS4 was confusing to some people, who havent played the previous games. But if you write/say that the Heavy Rain Storyline is on par with the Storyline of the entire MGS series, than you are lying to yourself!
