I went straight on hard, before going onto crushing.
I died loads at the start but by the time you get to the plane wreck it became fun trying to out do the AI, because they are clever, always posing different threats each time you play, you try it one way and they react, try it another way and you may have more success before they pin you down and slaughter you
looks good, I've got about 10 people on my list who are playing it, I'm sure one dude was on it for at least 13 hours straight yesterday.
I'm interested to see if sony's policy of get as much of the game done through the cell, before you start to polish the graphics in the last 2 months holds true with this game,if thats the case then this could look much better than what we've seen so far.
I'll take the example from GG own site
Some of the graphics look a little crap though, especially from the air. Personally though I'm more interested in ARMA 2,these guys made the original flashpoint and I think they will beat OpF2 in terms of realism.
?, not much to see or say really, looks more modern, can't think of anything else.
* Improved accuracy while moving (based on user feedback). Partial implementation. More improvements to come.
nooooo, more run and gunners, great.
I'll only ever do 2 player, but the option is nice.
this screen shows 12 cars in splitscreen

I have the demo and that only allows 9,nice one evo.
The graphics are looking really good now though.
I liked the way the blades seemed to swarm around that big dude.
dude,if that get's cut I'll really be pissed off then
as someone here would say, only possible on 360.
Don't take it to heart PP,just messing with ya,but even he would have to admit that this bad news for anyone interested in the game
don't forget that the demo was a much earlier build and had things removed to keep it to a smaller file size.

it was the same last year, I never liked the 08 demo so never got the game but I know people who did and say there were very noticeable improv...
check out pages from 46 to 52 in this PDF http://www.guerrilla-games....
It shows that they will only use 4 spu, and there's there not even using half the potential of each one. without being a tech head it also looks like they are using the cell to do a fair chunk of the graphics processing.
If they are doing this with 4 imagine if they max out six and use number 7 t...
to the disagree.
seriously I have put that time in, and if I could post a HD vid of it you would know what I mean.
I love the demo, easily put 8 hours into it and for a old build it looks really good, you really see the quality after you finish the race and just watch the car go around it looks amazing, especially the way the dust collects on you vehicle.
any list without that in it is a poor list
probably, but I'll go for the 500 or wait a little for the 750
"The PC version of FIFA 09 is different to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions because of the CPU processing power required for the architecture of the game"
no it's just saying the cpu's are far more powerfull than most peoples pc cpu's,nothing to do with ram or gpu's
have to disagree that it's a arcade racer XI, i've played quite a few pc sims and I have to say it's bloody close if not equal, all it needs is damage.
here's a what a pc sim racer thinks about it in this review for SRT
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
and don't forget it's only a demo, and he should of used G25 for the review.
If I could use my G25 on the 360 then I would seriously consider it because it adds to game and helps make GT5p awesome.
On Simbin the only game I liked was GTlegends, GTR was OK but you felt alone on the track for most of the game, never played number 2 but I heard some people felt it was toned down quite a bit over the first, either way it should be a decent game but I'll probably stick with GT5p
Yeah man, the graphics on LBP are stunning,it looks like proper CGI at times especially when you create your own levels.
