i didn't have a ps2, so the hd collections have been amazing
i have sly, jack, ratchet, and ico, out of those, ico, because it let me play shadow of the colossus
then your not playing it because you don't like it, not because you refuse to like it because it screwed up dmc's universe, which i'm fine with
i'm not usually a fan of dmc, but if ninja theory's making it, then i'm interested. Just beat heavenly sword, blew my expectations away.
if your a mgs fan then revengeance looks like it's ruining the character and atmosphere and everything that i liked about mgs, but if revengeance is a great standalone title then heck yes i'll play it. that's why i think any dmc fan not willing to enjoy this game if it ends up being great is an idiot.
i think people who played pokemon when they were kids, and have grown up with it are the ones that enjoy it, where as if you are 18 and you were to try it out for the first time, you probably wouldn't appreciate it, i think that's the predicament i'm in
i never understood why pokemon was fun, i've tried it many many times, and always dislike it, everybody else seems to love it though so it's probably just me
but metal gear rising may be a good standalone game, but as a metal gear solid game, it's a 1/10

people are acting like the last dante was a strong character, it was the gameplay that made dmc, and this is full of it, and change, change is good. seems to me people are just worried about the fact that things are changing, instead of worrying if it's actually any good.

i'm not saying dead space 3 isn't scary, because i know it is for alot of people, but i consider myself to be a pretty big wimp when it comes to scary movies and things, but i had no problem playing dead space alone in a dark basement. it just wasn't scary for me, not saying i didn't have a ton of fun with it, it just wasnt scary

lets be honest here, the xbox could handle mgs4, and when it's this far down in the console cycle, i don't mind xbox getting mgs4, it'd be like mass effect 1 coming to ps3 (which it is), but 10x cooler. finally, my friends will be able to play my favorite game ever.
there's an uncharted board game too. Who ever knew that these things existed?
