if you want to enjoy left behind, then you need to stop looking at it as just a game, that's like expecting an apple and biting into a mango. a mango tastes great, but it makes for a nasty apple.
When you look at left behind's gameplay outside of combat, you really are just walking around, but that's not what you're supposed to be finding enjoyment in.

this is great news, last of us is one game where changing the difficulty changes how you play completely
people pay 20$ for movies. and many of those aren't as good of an experience as left behind was for me, seeing as you could play it
