it's not just the mobile version. video gets screwy in desktop too and constantly scrolls down until i pause it.
Most people didn't own one though. Or ever did. The Switch has already surpassed it in sales.
I think it will happen in one form or another. BoTW has made Zelda more popular than ever and they will be introducing these games to a new generation of Zelda fans. If they don't, it's a huge missed opportunity.
I just want SS HD personally, but it would be nice to have WW and TP too, since the Y button on my GamePad sticks and I don't want to buy a pro controller. SS HD would being able to finally showcase the watercolor effect that didn't quite come across in 480p.
This is what I want. OoT and MM are on the 3DS, but to have tww, tp, and SD on one cartridge for the Switch would be awesome
I hope it did as well worldwide. From everything I hear it's an incredible game. (Kirby that is)
I just wish they were spaced out. And if they took advantage of Zelda's increased popularity and released TP HD and WW HD. Those are two-must in my mind and if they did that instead of Toad and Hyrule Warriors maybe I wouldn't have a problem. Those, despite being ports, are two of the best Wii U games.
@ShottyatLaw you do make some good points. I just wish they were spread out a little more. Hopefully E3 will be full of brand new content. One of my biggest problems is the ports being released. There are much better games than Toad to port, among others. I know Zelda is now a seller but Hyrule Warriors is just okay. I'd be okay with Mario Maker and I still want the Zelda games, WW and TP, ported, but only 5 games out of the switch games (or 6) were original games from the direct. I just ...
I don't disagree with this and I was fine with ports with the mini direct, but the last direct really turned me off. I still love my Switch, but it's just too much, IMO. That's just me though. There are some ports I'd be fine with, but just space them out with some original content, even ports that are coming out the same time as the other consoles.
I just think there are too many at once. I know they don't want a drought with content, but, put out the best games for the system. I kinda understand Hyrule Warriors because Zelda, but why not WW HD or TP HD, which would sell really well, even better. Xeno X does deserve a port. Captain Toad though? That's kind of a joke. It's just too much at once.
It's more that there are so many at once. I think that's the main issue here.
I've never seen this argument before but it's actually crazy valid.
which ones, in particular? I'm just curious. There are some that I want, like Xenoblade X and the Zelda games, but beyond that I'm not sure.
I don't mind TWW HD and TP HD, because I want a Zelda collection, but, Captain Toad is ridiculous. Tropical Freeze deserves it because like you said it is one of the best 2D platformers ever. Bayo 2, with Bayo 3 on the way, deserves it as well. But they are going a bit overboard just because, I feel, they have nothing to release.
Even Hyrule Warriors, which I enjoyed, shouldn't get a port. And if Smash shows one glimpse of being a port I may as well lose it.
The thing, and someone mentioned this to me, is that the Switch will have the highest ratio of ports than any other system. Simply to make up for their lack of original content for the first half of this year. I mean Captain Toad? It was a solid game but a port of it? Sorry but that just doesn't cut it. Smash Bros. doesn't make a direct. Honestly, I'm playing my Xbox One, believe it or not, more than my Switch right now.
As much as I love the switch, and they had a fantastic first year, there are way too many ports coming out and to be honest the last direct really rubbed me the wrong way. Smash doesn't make a direct.
It's amazing to see how this sensation has taken the world by storm.
