The gameplay of games has not evolved for a good while now. I don't care how shiny a car is or how much sweat is dripping off a player's head. I just want some fun, addicting gameplay. As far as revolutionary, I haven't seen any at all.

I think my favorite of this gen was Limbo. It was a very simplistic but challenging game at the same time. I loved the simple black/gray/white color palette they used. It goes to show you that you don't need all these fancy visuals and sounds with complicated controls to make a game great!
This is the only new IP I'm really excited for. I can't wait for this game!
