Many people make comments about how Nintendo isn't very innovative and that they keep rehashing the same old titles. Nintendo is actually very innovative; they just tend to innovate within their own IP. Miyamoto has mentioned that he doesn't know what more he could do with F-Zero, which is part of the reason why Nintendo hasn't revisited the game.
Rayman Legends is doing well and will hopefully continue to sell well during the holidays. AC3 online was only recently fixed and that took forever. Splinter Cell Blacklist did not receive local co-op despite the fact that Nintendo is known for couch gaming, the loading times are atrocious, and Spies vs. Mercs is currently broken. I have been looking for every reason to pick it up and will wait until it's fixed. For a launch title ZombiU was great but not everybody wants to play a surviva...
I just hope the practice of broken games at launch for 2014 ends next year.
