I think the question should be: "Could 1080p 60fps Ever Be The New Normal For All PS4 Games?" since that is even a challenge for the stronger system which would need to happen first before X1 being a possibility
Am I the only one excited about the future potential of running HTML5 games on X1 via Windows 10?
The PS4 has a more powerful GPU and Faster RAM, The difference is the PS4 is more powerful... but not "Much More" powerful lol. If it were "Much More" powerful then every multiplat AAA would run 1080p and 60fps WITH noticeably better graphic effects than X1.
To a PC gamer, the difference between the X1 and PS4 hardware wise is slightly different, running most games with the same graphics settings but at a higher resolution is not "Much More" powe...

Wow looks like the Closed minded fanboys came by the disagrees I got, I put a link supporting what I know and you still can't take constructive criticism lol
People like your comment about "What you found" and then I post links to factual info to prove myself right for the clearly uneducated and get disagreed... -_-
Really, Nonsense, the move engines are part of the APU the same piece of hardware the PS4 uses to access it's servers, so why ...
Why did I just click on the link... bunch of pervert azz kids man lmao
Aenea, DDR3 is system RAM shared between GPU and CPU anyways, you obviously know nothing about hardware and only know what you read about consoles lol. Any PC gamer here who have built there own rig know that DDR is system memory ;)
The Move engines are for moving data... that's it, They can take any data in the system (RAM) or sever based (cloud) and send it wherever. You obviously did not read enough about it

Does not matter joeorc, stop grasping for straws, PS4's APU does NOT have move engines, it is a separate hardware which is non existent in the APU, there is no software update to make them magically appear lol. PS4 already has a stronger GPU because they used that space for more 768 more cores (i think that's right) and MS used that space for the 4 move engines.
PS4's GPU has GpGPU compute which is CPU task being able to be done on the GPU, but at the same time t...
They could, but the millions of PS4's without would not be fair, don't you think?
No because the Xbox One's APU dye has 4 move engines which sole purpose is to display pre-rendered data to the display in sync with on board hardware.
Move engines take server side calculations and display them up to 206gb/sec (<-I think that the bandwidth) where PS4 has the same APU series but put more shader cores in that space for a more powerful on board GPU.
PS4 could probably do it to an extent, but no where near the bandwidth that X1 can since it was bu...
Way to over-analyze things... Don't get so defensive. ;)
What? lol Do you remember when the discussed the GPU's of both systems and how they were the exact same series but with the PS4's GPU have more shader cores and xbox one using that space for 4 move engines that's only job is to take pre-calculated data and display it @ 120gb/sec per engine? Yep, they built the Xbox one for Cloud based streaming gaming. The PS4 does NOT have that, so they could never match what the Xbox One is capable of via the cloud. Besides, 8gb of RAM is 8Gb of...
Dan the Man Demands 60fps Man!
I remember being wowed that DC had rain droplets that moved and floated up and away after the wiper push them aside and when you spun the droplets moved the way the force was pushing instead of the cars direction.
NOW, Forza 6 has that AND it affects the driving as well... AWESOME!
You guys need to stop with the 1.23 TFLOPs leg to stand on.
First off it was 1.32 Teraflops at launch, not 1.23...
Second off it has been rumored to be at 1.4X Teraflops to date with previous Overclocking of the GPU and CPU ;)
That was awesome!
Can't wait to see Forza Horizon 3!
BUT DUZ IT CHOOT REEL NEEDELZ DOH?
Don't know about yall but I got 15fps jump on GTA V from Win10 alone, and that was not even a fresh install... :D
Nah, I absolutely HATE 720p and Im on X1. I love BF4, but I would love it more if it were 900p+ as anything 900p+ IMO is acceptable.
Im iffy on the 30 or 60fps topic because the other day I played GTA V on a friends gaming rig and while the graphics and resolution were noticeably better than my X1 copy, the 60fps killed it for me, after experiencing that, I do feel like some game should be 30fps as it does have that close too 24fps cinematic feel
