I was actually the original Gas Snake. Got fired from the job after I kept on farting during stealth operations, almost got myself killed a bunch of times.
:P
As EBT said, it's a new IP - something that's never been done before.
I going to go ahead and guess that it's a game based on "Saga".
Image Comics series? Check.
Violent comedy? Check.
Highly stylized? Check.
Would make for an amazing game? Check.
Well, I think that it's a character that's been in the Batman universe before, but in a totally new form. In other words, maybe it's Jason Todd, who's been a part of the whole Batman universe for such a long time now, but in a way that we've never seen him before, in the form of the Arkham Knight.
Either:
Jason Todd
Azrael
Deathstroke
Thomas Wayne Jr. (Owlman)
A robot/AI created specifically to kill Batman
Apparently, the ending is going to shock everyone, although people will be happy with it.
Sounds to me like Batman will die and Terry McGinnis will step up which will lead into Batman: Beyond games. Either that or something else completely mind blowing will happen. Could go either way.
To me, looks like either Thomas Wayne Jr., Deathstroke in disguise, or a robot/AI specifically created to kill Batman.
Side note:
The thumbnail of the article that I included is the silhouette of "The Knight", the new character mentioned in the article.
I wasn't "hating". Please don't use that term, I was simply pointing out that I didn't believe them. All they were doing were pointing out obvious details that everyone had already assumed were to be true, long before these guys entered the picture. Everyone knew that it'd be made by Rocksteady. With the addition of the BatPlane in Origins, most people guessed that this new game would include the Batmobile, and out of the domains registered by WB in 2013, "Batma...
Lmao @the guy who edited his comment
I think so, but there were probably still a lot more minor bugs that hadn't been fixed yet.
I never encountered any bugs or glitches when playing on the 360, right after the game launched, though, so I really don't know what console owners are complaining about. I know, though, that the PC version is supposedly buggy as hell.
Well, Rocksteady did mention that the tools that they're using to create Arkham Knight are mad expensive, to make sure that the graphics and such are beautiful as hell. In that sense, it's understandable that WB may have sold Arkham Orgins to give Rocksteady some cash for the tools.
Also, WB may have been worried that fans would get pissed if no Arkham game was released, so they released Arkham Origins. This reason is what the article talks about.
I...
These guys are so obviously making up all this information. WB Montreal told him all about the game just because he's also from Montreal? Lol no. Besides, t's so freakin obvious that the game will be next-gen, called Arkham Knight, feature the Batmobile, etc. Pretty sure that they're just fishing for views.
Sucks that they're all bronze trophies and there's no platinum either
:(
MS: But... But... The Xbox One is still as great as it was before we announced it, when we made the big Titanfall deal! The sequel to Titanfall can be a MS exclusive too, right..?
EA: lol no. I mean, have you even seen what the PS4 does?: http://fireden.net/4chan/im...
*makes deal with Sony*
Awesome, hopefully PS4 is one of the platforms they port Peggle 2 to.
@XSilver
I sincerely hope that the rest of SSM will revive this cancelled project. Just hearing a little bit about it, and it sounds so damn epic :(
Should be interesting considering that VR is slowly rising, and Sony will probably announce their headset soon.
It'd be a great place to showcase any and all VR enabled games.
Let's hope that this actually happens.
Yes! I completely forgot about Savage Starlight, but a sci-fi game from ND would be spectacular.
Looks like Naughty Dog is currently having a tough time deciding between a sequel to The Last of Us, a new IP, or Jak 4. Either way, I'll be really damn excited for whatever they release.
Yup, I'm hoping that there are two main methods of buying games:
1) Buy games individually. This will cost you more down the road but you get to keep the games you buy forever.
2) Subscription. Sign up for either a 3 month ($40), 6 month ($70), or 12 month ($100) subscription (that will automatically renew unless cancelled). With a subscription, you gain access to all games, but you will no longer have them if you terminate your subscription, similar to h...
