Original Xbox was a beast.
And the 360's problems were caused by the last minute upgrade on RAM. Just not enough room in the box. MS's mistake and they paid dearly for it.
But the slim 360 is also a beast.
Doesn't Gamestop only mark down used games 5(ish) bucks or so for newly released titles?
I think the bigger problem is renting games, not used games. How and CAN you rent games on the new systems?
I would be more in favor of used games if gamestop, etc. actually paid more for them.
As of right now, it's a massive ripoff.
Hopefully Rare is making a platformer.
To see how MS responses to all the hatred.
I doubt we'll see a whole lot of Kinect games that are purely Kinect related. Fitness, dance and few games for kids.
They won't be shovelware, they've been in development too long, plus there's a Kinect in every box, so it's more than likely going to have Kinect compatibility, like Ryse, for example.
As long as CoD: Ghosts is a launch title, the Xbox One will sell.
The 1st party games are just gravy.
Who knows, that might happen.
The final boss was a giant pain in the ass. I felt so good after I killed that bastard.
And the studio ok'd them all.
Then cost went up and egos got in the way. Happens all the time, sadly.
Sony might be forced into doing it, though.
Didn't they say it was up to the dev/pub?
Third party aren't going to do one thing on Xbox One and then another on PS4. That would be stupid, unless Sony laid down the law, but then that would mean they'd fav the X1, because they'd be making money back from used games.
Sony, you might be in a pickle.
Looking good, plus Major Nelson said the controller has some new features they haven't released yet.
I know you don't want to hear it, grimm, but wait until e3.
MS really needs to blow us away at E3, though, that's for sure.
Stopped supporting it? More like MS did everything it could and it wasn't enough. They brought the JRPGs, they lowered the price big time(didn't they give away games with it?) and it still didn't sell.
They were doomed from the start.
Hell, it's worth owning one just for Lost Odyssey, IMO.
Nothing a post-it note won't fix and try not to have your weekly cult meeting while your system is powered up.
The only way MS could ever succeed in Japan is if they bought Square Enix.
And that still might not work.
I'm sure someone will make an app that shut Kinect down for a minute, maybe they can call it the, " GiveitToYourselfharder " in tribute to you.
Is Remedy first party now? MS owns them?
Not really, FIT. How many first party games that been released on the 360 in the past couple of years? 2-3? Halo 4 being the biggest.
The rest of been doing something...right?
Yup and thus why they'll launch 15 first party exclusives in the first year.
