That's the worst pre-order bonus from the competition....
I don't like Gamestop as much as the next guy, but it's different per store. There are good clerks and bad clerks. I just hate the ones that are so obviously fanboys to a specific system which many GSs have.
Is this suppose to be an accomplishment...?
I mostly just heard grunts. lol
Disagree with all points in this article. Ivalice-based games are built for a very specific crowd. XII was just as divisive as XIII, Vagrant Story is not a game that has wide spread appeal. Even the first Tactics, as great as it was, only appeals to an audience the level of NISA games. IMO, silly article.
It wasn't until the DS Lite appeared 1 or 2 years later that people started to like it. Not a good comparison.
This trailer is so bad though lol. Whatever I'm excited.
WOW really??? I guess I owe NoA a huge apology.
Here's how I see it, Zelda with voice acting can work, but I still don't believe Link should speak. Something similar to how Suikoden IV and V were except then all the know-it-all critics will slam Nintendo for not giving Link a "personality".
Zelda series should stick to grunts and stuff. It works plus Nintendo hires bad voice actors.
Besides pacing because the whole game is a dungeon and a boring world (due to first issue), Skyward Sword is easily a great title.
Anyways, this guy doesn't seem to know a thing about Zelda series besides OoT. He mentions that SS is supposed to be a prequel to OoT then states it makes little sense since SS' Link looks older than other Links... seriously? He doesn't even know the basics of the series? And he's complaining the series needs a reboot? Really? I gu...
I agree with this article 100%. I get asked to play Skyrim, Fallout and other WRPGs all the time because I've always liked Final Fantasy and other JRPGs. I've tried, I don't like them.
I think the whole point of the article is that people are being critical of Skyward Sword for silly reasons.
I think it's pretty clear he was expecting to play skyrim instead and not a zelda title.
Gamepot: all games should be like fallout or elders scroll
I always go art over graphics. Technically Skyrim destroys Skyward Sword, but I find SS to be much more attractive on the eyes. It's like breast; I like me some big breasts, but it's nothing without a cute face. Random nuff?
Wow, atleast get the headline right....
I have no faith in NoA localizing original/core/mature titles anymore.
I bought my 3DS at launch and have three games: SWC, DoA, & OoT. Each one I've spent atleast 40 hours on so they've been worth it. My next games will be TotA and Revelations. The system itself is actually solid, though it is clearly limited in some aspects and I turn off the wireless which really saves on battery life when it's sleeping.
But yeah, it definitely needs more games because it seems the big release games are the same ones shown at E3 2010. The new ...
NoA has great titles like Zelda and Skyward Sword coming out for Wii.
Twilight Princess was amazing. The gameplay was the best of each Zelda titles and the combat system was so much improved from Wind Waker. The last dungeon is epic battle after battle to the big boss himself.
The only things it could have done better for me was one, to focus the story more on the core characters of Link, Zelda and Ganon. They drive Zelda storylines. The most fondly remembered Zelda titles, OoT and ironically WW, featured them as the core storyline. TP used the...
I like buying systems at launch but Vita doesn't interest me yet. 1) The system is way too big, plain front, and ugly rear. Dual analog sticks out a lot making it even less portable. 2) No internal memory even when games require some. Then the memory cards themselves are proprietary making them needlessly more expensive. I have the PSPgo and still playing it frequently so this step-back is irksome for me. 3) And the games, all indications are pointing at PS3 ports and multiplatform games ...
