7 sounds about right. I personally gave it a 7.5.
It was a good game but it missed being great.

i was very very disappointed with this game.
it wasnt scary at all.
-same forest scenery grew old.
-combat was repetitive.
-stages were toooooo long.
-collectables (thermals, etc) were worthless.
-the script was cool but it spoiled the game and warned you about future events.
-graphics were eh (ill give this a pass. it was in development for a long time).

ME1 was so much better than ME2.
tired of these same old games. Mass Effect 1 was a different type of shooter. A shooter that combined Action, Strategy and RPG elements extremely well. Sure the game at its faults but at least it was something different.
They turned a great RPG shooter into a generic, action first shooter. It makes me sick.
