Great comment. Totally agree with your last sentence but there are people with different mentalities. People who enjoy FPS' don't necessarily play RTS' or Racing games etc. The same is the case with Call of Duty. People who enjoy Call of Duty don't necessarily play other games, Battlefield , Medal of Honor or Halo.
It's just about preference. I love every genre and every game you mentioned above is awesome.
