You can lose your cool, and not be racist. They are not mutually exclusive.
What Nintendo did wasn't VR. It's an HMD, but not VR. The headset doesn't allow you to interact with what's happening on screen, that would be the controller.
@MichaelLito79
While I absolutely hate referencing vgchartz their stats show 202.5 million PS4 vs. 109.96 Xone global software sales (I can't seem to find any official 'cumulative' numbers for software for either platform). Again, while I don't put much stock in their numbers, I also don't think they're off by 100 million.
Please disregard this message if you meant that Microsoft (not console specific) sells more software (ie. Windows...
@Dlacy13g
The processor in the PSVR doesn't aid the PS4 processor. It just processes the signals sent by the PS4 to be used in the display. Actually, any kind of modern display needs a processor. The HMZ-T1 works the same way, and has a similar box with a processor connected to it. It'll display the 3D image sent by the ps3/ps4 in the same way that it'll display an image from a dvd. It doesn' mean that it's helping the dvd player process the data. Si...
@Dlacy13g
I have the HMZ-T1. The first generation of the recently released HMD's (Sony had made a few back in the '90s). I bought it new for $750. The reason they cost so much was that Sony never intended on releasing it as a consumer product. A prototype was shown at CES and interest grew based on the prototype. When it eventually went for pre-order/sale, the stock was extremely limited. It could only be purchased at a Sony store (brick and mortar or web). Of ...
I received my code at 9:30pm on the 18th. Didn't even know about the promotion so it came as a welcome bonus to my purchase. Seems like a flamebait article when they say "no codes have been sent out".
@stuna1
I have the original HMZ-T1. You could say that it was the precursor to PSVR. The processor box for that is about half the size of the Wii. There's no fan, just A LOT of empty space.
They never said the game would be structured like a telltale game. By episodic, gangsta_red is referring to squares release/pricing of FFVII. Square has stated that they will be releasing the game in pieces, not as a single release.
i got my code a couple hours after, but i signed up at 4 hours ago, and it's first come first serve.
Today is the 3rd, and it's suppose to start tonight at 10pm eastern time. burst test is on saturday the 5th at 4pm eastern and it ends sunday the 6th at 11:59pm eastern.
@rxl209 If you had read Waltyftm's comment, you'd realize travis3708 was talking about the bonestorm image (fake game from the simpsons tv show), not lego games.
@NobleRed if that drive works I'll definately be doing the same thing. I've currently got a 2tb raid set up with the ps4.
According to tomshardware.com, Current WD hybrid drives don't seem to work with PS4's. Because of the way the drive is set up, the PS4 reads it as 2 separate drives. And because the SSD portion is read first, the PS4 gives an error as the minimum size drive it's looking for is 160g. The newer WD drives may work though depending on how they're set up.
18.5 million sold to consumers, not shipped.
"Sony’s new figures have them selling 18.5 million PS4s. And yes, that’s still sold to consumers, not shipped to retailers, a metric often used to put a positive spin on lower sales.' - FORBES

Technically the DLC's aren't region locked to the machine, just the account. If you made yourself an additional EU account from the US, you'd be able to download and use the DLC assuming you have the corresponding disc. Your European disc (code starts with BCES/BLES…) obviously won't work with North American DLC (code starts with BCUS…) as they are two different product codes. The North American store wouldn't likely make European DLC available as it...
Possibly an Uncharted 4 release date announcement? Although I believe it to be a typo or mistake, the Canada Sony store has Uncharted 4 estimated ship date set at 3-14-2015.
If the original for the PS3 is still selling for $60 at retail, i don't see why they wouldn't sell the remastered for the same price. The pricing seems to be more of an issue for those that have already purchased the original and are looking to add the remastered to their collection. Besides, I'm sure it wasn't a straight transfer to get the remastered working on an entirely new platform.

Awesome! Another chance to win a ps4!
Wrong analogy. It’s more akin to the state (Nintendo) builds a road to make life better for it’s users. Ford (game developers) builds a car that was intentionally designed not to drive on that road.
