Oh no. Project Snowblind 2.
Diablo doesn't need anything from DX10 to make it look good. In fact, it probably doesnt need anything from DX9 even - oh, perhaps some bloom. Maybe the open source community will get lucky, and Blizzard will announce that they coded these games for OpenGL 3 instead of DirectX. Probably a long shot.
hahaha, i suppose JC dreams of electric sheep, too.
Isn't blade runner a GOOD place to draw inspiration from, though?
Well, at least by being a sequel they don't have to worry much about integrating the story of DX2. Since so many people were offended by that game, thats at least a good thing.
But yeah, i'm a little scared now. So we have a prequel to Deus Ex, and the new main character is going to have augs that sound way cooler than anything JC or Paul had, two of the first nano-augs. Does that mean the main character is gonna be a mech-aug, and look like robocop? I suppose that would be a mi...
That was the second dumbest article i have ever read.
Duke will be a PC title, period. It would not surprise me if a port came out on the 360 as well because of how similar its hardware is to that of a PC, but it certainly wont be only on the 360. With 3DRealms track record, i expect them to release a PC version and let some 3rd party port it to the other consoles, probably both PS3 and 360. But heck, by the time DNF actually comes out, there will probably be a whole new generati...
Wow, so much for engadget being a reliable news source. I have a nearly 10 year old 20/1'' monitor that is HD, what are they smoking?
And my current monitor is 1920x1200, which is more pixels than HD. As a matter of fact, i have an old NEC/Mitsubishi 19'' CRT that had a resolution of 2048x1200 with old GeForce 3 cards, thats way past 1080p too, and its about 15 years old.
someone please smack this engadget writer upside his head and tell him that PC displays have bee...
I read about this in PC Gamer a few months back. According to the preview, it looks like a good item to augment current controllers. The preview mentioned you need to train it to recognize the correct thoughts, and the previewer wasnt entirely convinced that it was reading electrical signals, and not just the way his forehead wrinkled up when he got angry, heh.
But this is the real deal, its not 100% do everything with your mind yet, but if any games actually include support for ...
I Loled. This article was so right. 90% of the most successful shooters out there are repetitive, generic, and ultimately boring to me. But for some reason, people just eat them up.
Then again, there are people who find sitting in a boat waiting for fish for hours to be fun, too. So i guess we shouldn't be surprised.
