I would say if a developer can't get there game to run on a platform, regardless of gpu then they are the disgrace and should have tested more release a working game. I have an ATI gpu and I don't have any issues running any other of my 40 plus games on Steam so wy should I have a problem with Rage?

Sure a lot of games look great on consoles but none of them look as good as Uncharted 2 or 3. the texture work is second to none. You can hardly find a fuzzy texture in uncharted 2 and 3.
Rage looks great until you factor in pop in, and screen tear, and the textures look low res when up close. Gears 3 looks good but again textures are low res. Forza 3 and Tomb Raider? LOL
Why would we need the Ps4 so other developers can reach these graphics when they ARE being reached with just the Ps3? There is enough power in the Ps3 to reach these graphics; you are seeing it now with Uncharted 3. It's up to the developers to do it.Youi can have a super computer but if the developers suck, they suck period.
Also In most games 3d makes the image take a hit but it overall IMO looks better because of the extra depth. It's more than a fair tradeoff....
