Nomura is like Kojima, they both have games on multiple consoles but they just like sony the most. There are rumors that Nomura threatened Square by leaving the company if they didn't let him make FFvsXIII the way he wanted. And if you read the wikipedia info on the game you're going to see that the team has said that the game development was moved from PS2 due to space limitation of the old DVD and we all know that the DVD9 has even less space than the Wii DVD format.

Zelda is not an RPG cus Link's abilities doesn't change during the course of the game, he just obtain new tools but his numerical stats are always the same. On top of that the gameplay's completely action based and the items are specific, few and limited. RPG always have a certain random element like the "critical hit" in battles, some kind of choice that either completely change the pace or course of the of the story or block your way to gain a certain item, etc.
probably upscaled cus the games coming this fall (Crazy Taxi and Sonic Ad2) doesn't even have 16:9 support like the PS2 HD collections of GOW and Sly Cooper.

Rising is an entire new game but it takes place within the MGS universe. Gameplay and concepts will be radically different from the MGS formula and that's why is called a spin-off.
