The only company that always pushes graphics in their games are the ones that comes from Square-Enix because they know that's what westerns like most and that's why they are the only popular company that makes jrpg in America. Because not even Atlus is at their level of pop.
They could force the game to be displayed on real 16:9? There are some emulators that let you run the game in real 16:9 like "project 64" but I don't think this could be possible on the PS3 and now even less that most PS3's don't even have backward compatibility and Sony doesn't care anymore.
But you mean the PS3 scaling the games to real 16:9 or to simply fill the screen? Because the PS3 already has that option.
I have played SFII so many times that I got bored of SSFIITHDR very fast plus I have a slow connection (512kbps) and the game lags so much that I can't stand it. Everything looks just like a slideshow... I just threw $15 dollars to the trash. This is the first game since I got the PS3 that I have experienced so much lag... Not even Resistance 2 with all the chaotic action has this kind of lag.
If you have a slow connection like mine, don't buy the game or you'll going to regret i...
the graphics aren't on par with the likes of GeoW2 but remember that WKS is not an 8 hour game with small environments, etc....

Yeah, and most FPS are: kill everybody, find your route and repeat... If you reduce any game to its core gameplay obviously you'll going to find them boring.

I see all this 4,5,6 that this game is receiving and I'm starting to think that reviewers suck and that most people get easily persuade by them.
