Yeah i wasnt a fan either. I did not like the çombat at all. I thought that it was oversimplified while being overcomplicated at the same time. I know that makes no sense at all but that is the way it felt. I tried to like it. Everything else was good though.

Fatal frame 2 is over looked? It is often voted one of the best survival horror games. And is so scary i have yet to beat it. I only played it one time and never touched it again.

Yeah i like it so far. I have a few complaints though. I think they should have done a better job setting up the puzzles. A lot of the time the momentum of the game gets halted when you are thrown in a puzzle section without any instructions at all. The clues that you accept at the expense of xp are usually worthless. This is problematic when there is a puzzle every 5 minutes it seems. I kind of raged a few times when i didnt know what to do. Not because you had to figure out a puzzle, but b...

People that say dead space isnt scary, chances are they are playing the game wrong. You need to play it on a hard difficulty, in the dark , at night , and with headphones on. That is the only way to play scary/horror games period.
Any body can play a scary game during the day or with the lights on and not be scared. With a genre like horror you need to set a proper mood to truly appreciate the game and the atmosphere that the developers are trying to create.

Just look at the show farscape. They had a perfect blend of cgi, make up, and animatronics. If you have never seen this show you need to buy all the dvds. The jim hensen co. Did an amazing job on that series. I still cannot believe it wasnt more popular with scifi fans.
Also the tv series dinosaurs. All of those puppets still seem so real. If you have netflix streaming you need to watch these two shows to see what i am talking about. Thank me after.
I played part 2 and was kind of let down with this series. I was excited to have it come to ps3 but thought it was overrated. I thought the aliens were cool and liked the conversation aspect of talking to different species and liked the planet mining mini games, but the story itself and gameplay was kind of lackluster. I also hated that ME2 was one giant lead up to part 3. Nothing of any significance, in respect to the main plot, was really revealed.
