(just curious) i have had mine running Gears of War for nearly 48 hours straight and the room was more then warm a lot of the time and nothing has happened, i have had mine for OVER a year and a half and to this day i have had no problem with it. and dont think i am a lair, if i get the RRoD i will come on here and announce it. and while its off getting repaired i will play on my 40GB PS3.

XboxLIVE didnt crash when Halo 3 was released, neither did it crash in the same month, i know this because i was playing Halo 3 online doing matchmaking and also the 4 player online co-op. if you disagree then please provide evidence and i will say sorry.
the only time i have known XboxLIVE to fuk up for a vast amount of time was over Christmas.
i do know they took down XboxLIVE for the launch of Halo 3 im just saying it didnt crash when Halo 3 was released.
although i dont think its a "failure" i do agree that it was better as it was when all friends where displayed on one page
although i do agree with you as i played the original GTA on PS1 when i was only 10 i do sometimes find myself wishing these 12-16 year olds wounded play 18 rated games, just the way they act i suppose, although obviously im not saying you act the same way.
if you do have to have a subscription like XboxLIVE then i will no doubt stay with a previous version of Windows

the only point i agree with is your number 3. But broadband speeds are only getting better, i have a 20MB connection on Fiber Optic cabling which means i wont loose speeds from being further away from the exchange point, and i can already download files this size in under 20mins although only from specific sites as not all support high download speeds.
and about putting stores out of business, the same could be said about iTunes with the downloadable songs etc but it hasnt, some ...
i believe this is for marketplace which means the movie RENTAL service they provide, once downloaded a movie someone has (i think) one week to start watching it, as soon as you have pressed play it then has a 24 hour timer then is unwatchable so i do believe people will be downloading them then erasing them and then downloading other movies yes.
also i have looked on the marketplace a normal HD movie on LIVE is normally between 3GB and 7GB depending on the length of the movie, so...
we can connect and download at a full speed provided to us from our ISP then this is true.
i managed to download 700mb image of Ubuntu from their homepage at nearly full speed and it took my under 5mins to do so, i also downloaded the x64bit version to test which was better and again downloaded under 5mins. But then i am on 20MB broadband from Virgin Media =p
when you asked to pre-order you should have been asked for your loyalty card, so if you loose your receipt then just give your post code and first line of address and its on your record =)

thx for the link, although i love using FireFox (2) when im playing WoW i have EVERYTHING turned onto high so it uses quite a lot of RAM and then i end up having multiple pages on FireFox checking different qs on thottbot which ends up using all my memory =(
in time the price will go down. i have a 20MB connection on cable broadband and for this this is great, i personally dont mind having to wait 20mins to download a HD movie as it would take that amount of time to go and rent it, also fuel money etc. but then i prefer to have the disc to keep... anyway yeah the price will go down =)
