...well in that case why don't they get sims online and only pay like 1/100th of the price?
I'm an XNA developer, and I've seen the sort of messing around you have to do to get results on the PS3. I would personally like to see you try to create a game for the PS3, so don't say that skills are lacking because in many cases they are advancing-proof is that more and more indie devs are creating games, and more, better quality games are being released.
Well obviously it's because PS3 is harder to program on. With the Xbox 360, you get better results without having to mess around; unlike the PS3.
The time the PS3 fanbase reaches 10 million, they shall be releasing the PS4...
The reason why they can't port is simple.
Xbox 360>PS3
I'd just like to make a point. Halo 3 WILL push the Xbox 360's limits, just like Halo 2 did with Xbox 1. But nobody-repeat NOBODY has seen final 1080p, 60fps footage of this game. Gears of War pushes the 360's hardware to the max, and because of all the hype surrounding Halo 3, I will place my house on the fact that Bungie will deliver on what they have promised. Oh and don't forget that this is the game that is going to kick Sony's large, sweaty ass.
In response to the above comment.
As a matter of fact, the map showcased in this news post is "High Ground" a map similar to Zanzibar. Figures thats why they did a comparison on them...
Is it past your bedtime? Go back to sleeping in your cot then when you are a big boy you can come and converse with the big people! Okay? Ok nighty night little one...
You are just jealous that the Xbox 360 has more exclusives than the PS3 has games.
A good slap to the PS3 fanboys' face.
You are so damn right!
why don't you just put that in one paragraph and by the way, xbox 360 is not 'thick'-you are though. And also Xbox 360 has best games out! More exclusives, broader range and better graphics. And there is no point of a console living for 10 years, because by then sony will be shooting themselves in the foot again because people shall be getting PS3 instead of PS4.
Punctuation is good by the way.
And I think Sony should be terribly embarrassed-an old console beating the sales of a new, hyped console that the press have been boasting about? They should be worried about their future and maybe think about lowering the console's price.
@r1000
Just FPS? Are you kidding me? Their is Halo, Far Cry etc. which are only FPS and besides, except from Halo which is an Exclusive to Xbox 360, all of them are on other consoles so shut up. And lets have a look at what you just think are FPS.
Project Gotham Racing-Driving
Viva Pinata-Family
Mass Effect-Roleplay
Gears of War-Third person shooter
And don't forget that these are all exclusives, and of the many of games.
Upgrading to a PS? Eh? But anyways, the point is that PS3 aren't selling like hotcakes, obviously. Look at the stats:
Xbox 360 sales: 10,451,041
PS3 Sales: 2,842,362
Cough
@All the above PS3 fanboys and the ones below
You just can't face the fact that the Xbox 360 is the superior machine even at every aspect because the Xbox 360 has the potential to keep on going, like the new keyboard coming out this summer. We have the superior online service, superior games and superior periphals and hardware even though a small percentage has had problems which should be expected from any high-tech piece of machinery. And anyways, we are talking about the PS3...
Argh why do people seem to think that the shield bubble and the so-called trip-mine are separate items? The shield bubble is the x button which when deployed makes a temporary shield as the name obviously suggests. One designer said that you can drop it on the floor at the last second to blow up a vehicle. The way it happens is the force of the shield bubble going up blows the vehicle up and blows it up. Just like a grenade deploying under a warthog. THEY AREN'T SEPARATE!
Microsoft will never die. FACT. There shall always be critics in terms of criticism. Nothing is ever perfect anyways; this is because otherwise they wouldn't have anything to improve on in the next version of the console.
It's rather amusing that even though Sony boasts about the Blu-Ray drive and all that processing power; the Xbox 360 still comes out first? It's like the comparisons too- Xbox looks good as or better than the PS3!
I love the that comparison!
I agree with you. I think that unless you have played on both systems, then you are not in a position to judge. I have played on both machines, and I personally think that the Xbox 360 gives you the better deal, mainly because of how long i've been a member(since launch) and how many problems i've had to deal with(none). Because Xbox basically invented online console gaming then you get the guarantee that it's gonna have the most original features. But the PSN, it seems...not fully intergrate...
