COD is a fast paced arcadey game
BF3 is a slow paced more tactical game, with a great new engine to boot.
You pick one.
Should say:
"Battlefield 3 has been nominated for 31 awards"
Rather than won.
They'll win a lot, but using the word won in this title is deceptive.
Well, when it releases Activision will be able to steal all the ideas for the next years COD.
But delaying them as long as possible is the best thing you can do.
It means this:
AAAA = A game scoring a 10
AAA = A game that scores from 9.0 to 9.9
AA = 8.0 to 8.9
A = 7.0 to 7.9
It's just used in scoring scenarios. It's stupid to use AAA here, as we have no idea what the game will be like and no scoring has been done yet.
For example, Call of Duty (hate it if you must) is an AAA game. (Scores average above 90)

Looks alright. I don't think it's won the show (for me) Battlefield 3 won me. But this looks decent enough for me to watch the progress of.
This was already shown...days ago.
And yes, the one shown days ago was on-screen(no off screen) and it was on 1080p glory, uploaded officially by the Battlefield youtube channel.

I'm a PC & Battlefield fanboy but Bobby here is correct.
EA have said they want to make a game better than COD. They want more sales, and thus need to make a quality game that exceeds call of duty.
Sales wise, the war is on the consoles. The PC sales are dwarfed by console sales on multiplatform games. So EA/DICE do need to pull off deploying Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360 & PS3 flawlessly if they want to win.
We know the PC versio...
Yep it's all pretty team oriented, the most CODish mode there is will be TDM which is a first in the BF series, introduced in BF3.
