The game crashed once for me. That was about 2 hours into the game. Which was 2 hours after it released. The servers being overloaded all at once may have had something to do with that though, because after playing another 9 hours or so after that, I have experienced ZERO bugs, ZERO crashes, and ZERO issues whatsoever.

This game is amazing and I can't help but feel that the author of this article is over exaggerating the crashes and bugs, and that he already had a crapp...

The trolls and fanboys are coming in droves in this article to hate and bash on the first article with something "bad" about the game.

Maybe this issue is a mistake due to it being day one of the game and probably numerous server issues. Why would Sean lie about this being in the game. How about we wait for Sean to comment on it before calling everyone a liar and saying the game is a joke and boring real fast all of the sudden.

Lol you people ar...

Maybe there is an issue and it needs to be fixed. Online servers have been very finicky with it being the first day people are playing. Sean said you would be able to see other people if you found them.

Maybe you can see other people, but there is just a server issue or something right now. Maybe we should find out from Sean to see what he says about it before everyone starts calling him a liar. I don't see why he would lie about it.

I agree 100%.

I have played about 8 to 9 hours so far, and I can honestly say that I have never been so excited to get home from work and rush home to play.

The second I got to worked and clocked in, all I could about is getting home to play this, and thinking about how my next planet or star system is gonna be, and what I'm gonna discover and learn. I already named a star system Nicolas Cage and it's planets Con Air, Raising Arizona, and Nationa...

@WKirk

I think that, in life, all we are really trying to do is find the Nicolas Cage in the center of ALL of our galaxies.

There are space whales. I can actually confirm this...

If you ever come across Jet Turtles or Space Belugas, then you will know that I was there, wreaking havoc and naming things on the planet.

My starting planet won't be hard for me to find... it is in the Nicolas Cage star system on planet National Treasure, with it's beautiful moon Con Air.

Mine crashed about 4 hours in at a monolith. Hasn't happened since, but thankfully my game reloaded like 10 seconds before the monolith so everything was all good.

Nothing has happened since that though. I have experienced no other bugs, issues, or problems at all besides that. I have been playing for about 9 to 10 hours total so far.

You people don't get it. You haven't played it, so I don't expect you to. There are way too many aspects of this game for me to sit here and list. I have been gaming for well over 25 years, so yeah, I obviously know what procedural generation is, and I know it has been around for a long time. I never said that procedural generation in this game even was groundbreaking.

You haven't played the game, so you obviously don't have a clue what makes this game s...

@Insomniac

You are sitting here using your opinion as a fact, and calling my opinion silly.

Do you not see how dumb what you're saying is?

The game IS groundbreaking. I have played it, and I'm sure that you have NOT played. So how is your opinion on it more relevant than someone who has actually played it?

If anyone is lapping up and just saying what everyone else is saying it's you. You are the one assumi...

@Insomiac

So let me try and help you to understand this.... the game is doing something groundbreaking in video games, and I can tell you already from playing this game, that is truly spectacular and sets a new precedent for games of this genre moving forward.

This game was made with pure passion instead of greed. This really shows because there is so much to this game that makes you sit there and say "Wow.. this is amazing."

There is a reload button for the gun on the multi-tool. You hit square.

You have to recharge the mining laser, but not the gun. Once you run out of ammo with the gun (which for me is 45 shots or so, and like 8 magazines ready to reload with) and when the gun eventually runs out, you recharge it with materials.

I feel like this game will never get old for me. It is too amazing so far.

Just because those are all of our retro/nostalgia moments in gaming when we were younger, it doesn't mean this game holds less importance or brevity on gaming.

This game is truly a defining experience for gaming, which will be held to the same respect as those games you mentioned.

As much as those games truly mean to me, what's stopping this game or any future game from holding precedence as those games do?

If you ever come across the "Nicolas Cage" star system, then you will know that was my stomping ground in the game. Started out on the planet "National Treasure".

This album is not only amazing, but probably 65daysofstatic's best album yet.

The music is perfect for the game and sounds amazing.

Go listen to some Kanye West or some more of that other mainstream garbage.

@Pong

Hahaha I keep doing the same thing... hoping it will glitch and let me play.

Only 4.5 more hours until greatness.

I am leaving work early tonight just so I can start playing. Got some nice beer waiting, chips and dip at the ready, and a girlfriend who I told that I will be tired tonight and not to bother coming over until tomorrow. Phone will be turned off and adventuring will commence.

I keep looking at No Man's Sky on my PS4 just to take a peek at the countdown until my digital copy is playable....

This game makes me excited and giddy like I would be when it was getting closer and closer to Christmas as a yound kid. Lol

Edit: Wow... how sad to see people are disagreeing with my comment. Are people really this salty and jealous about No Man's Sky? This game really has caused a lot of salt. It's so weird.
