Yeah... When I was watching the most recent Crackdown 3 trailer, I was watching it on YouTube on my phone. I usually have my video quality settings at 720p or 1080p, and sometimes it will switch to 144p or 240p due to a drop in my WiFi speed... Well, when I was watching it, I had thought the video quality dropped down to 240p, because the gameplay looked sooo awful.. sure enough the quality was still at 1080p.. The game was just horrendous graphics-wise..
I want to say that...
This game was incredible.
If anyone has yet to play it, and is thinking about it, then you definitely should. You also NEED to play this game with noise-cancelling headphones on to fully experience this game.
@Bronx
No, dude... no..
That is ridiculous. You wanna know how I know that it's not only wrong, but also completely ridiculous to even say?
Well, it's because:
1. Not only are the number of preorders unknown, but the number of preorders available are unknown. By the way, they said they prepared for a weeks worth of preorders that sold out in a day, and considering how little XBox vanilla sells in a week, the n...
The fact that they are confident in console comparisons to do the talking instead of games doing the talking is worrying to say the least...
So you're basically saying:
"Screw the current XBox owners. We are gonna hold all our games we could release to our fans this generation, and instead we are gonna wait a couple years so that we can have a handful of good(?) games for the NEXT generation and it's fans (which will dwindle because of this decision anyway)."
The reason XBox is failing RIGHT NOW is because they aren't releasing games, let alone any GOOD games.. The funny ...
@Kribwalker
"And you had the PlayStation contingent calling scalebound boring looking and talking how the game looked like trash and the beats wearing protagonist was an idiot"
I still, 100%, fully agree with that. I thought it looked ridiculously bad. I was literally embarrassed to see that Platinum Games had anything to do with that atrocity they called a game. I STILL shudder thinking about that trailer where he puts on the beats headphones, ...
The fact that you guys consider that a "pretty dang good lineup" for the XBox, just goes to show how alarmingly dire the game/exclusive situation drought really is over at MS...
Also, considering how I can count the amount of exclusives for release in 2017 on one hand (a gimped hand, missing fingers, and the fingers that ARE there are gnarled and broken), you would think that they might have AT LEAST a little more exclusives saved for next year... I guess we will...
We should just ignore how the cloud power PR was all bulls#@!, and just move on. We won't talk about it, and that way XBox fans won't have another thing to be ashamed about. We all knew this year's ago, so let's just let it go.
@itsmebryan
What you just said is something we like to call "revisionist history"..
XBox fans were clamoring for the greatness that was Scalebound, claiming that it would "turn the tide" in favor of XBox.. It was viewed like the second coming of Christ. Then, when it was cancelled, the same XBox fans were saying how it "wasn't even on their radar" or "it didn't look that great in the first place".
...
@2pacalypsenow
"If the game is only on Xbox and Xbox 1 then it's a MS exclusive."
Fair enough.. but if thats the case, then they should start calling it a "MS Exclusive", instead of spinning and obfuscating the truth every chance they get..
@bolimekurac
I would agree with you if we weren't around 4 years into the generation already...
It takes time to create games, especially at the beginning of a generation when a lot of games are still in the development pipeline. So that excuse is all well and good... buy after about a year or so into the generation, a nice steady flow of games with highly rates exclusives should start to begin popping up. This isn't happening with MS, and instead...
@denawayne
It's more about how Sony fans are calling out MS on their staggering amount of failures, lies, spin, and all around sketchiness because XBox fans are too loyal and fanboyishly delusional to be capable of not only doing it themselves, but also being able to even SEE what's going on...
MS is screwing fans of XBox left and right, and anyone to call out what is so obvious and out in the open is immediately labeled a Sony fanboy who doesn...
I wouldnt be surprised if these Xbox exclusive Doritos get delayed til next year and then cancelled.
Are they supposed to be "True 4K Doritos"?
I bet the flavor is cloud powered..
@s2killinit
No, it's a "World Premiere Console X-clusive" console stand.
It's unlike any other stand, because instead of holding a games console, it shifts your paper weight 90 degrees so that it will for nicely with your entertainment center.
"Got bills you want to ignore, while hoping they might just magically disappear eventually!? Well spend 500 dollars on the MS World Premiere 'X-clusive Paper Weight X...
@Septic
I gotta say... I have always viewed you as a rabid fanboy of MS, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. I have a lot of respect for the fact that you have been calling out MS on their BS lately.
We all, as gamers, need to hold all of these companies feet to the fire, and it seems like all of us may get caught up in which brands we like, but we all need to stand up to unacceptable practices, and take an objective view of our gaming companies ...
Not just bad... cringeworthy..
@marquisray
One paperweight wasn't enough for you..?
@shadow
Wow, what a long and diverse list you got there, "bro".. /s
The fact that you tried to correct him by proving his point was hilarious..
"And a ton of BC games if you missed those, like I did."
I don't know about you, but I bought a current generation console so I could play NEW GAMES, not OLD GAMES. Remastered and reboots are nice sometimes, but seriously, dude..? Come on..
@Death
"You can't appreciate the benefit of higher sales when playing a game."
Well, actually.. You can..
The more sales, the more players that are playing online, this resulting in less time waiting for matches. More sales also equates to better support and the possibility of a sequel and possible content updates such as Diablo 3.
I know you like to spin right round, right round, like a record baby, but...
