Sorry for the late reply, but I should have said "playable armies." Or has Dawn of War II feature all of them as playable?
Only ever had the first one and still had a blast with it.
I just wish the Dawn of War series would have all the 40k armies. Not sure how much of a balancing nightmare that'd be, but the table-top games lay a great foundation to build on.
Just realized I'll be attending 4 more mid-night launches this year. Already went to last weeks for Space Marine. I'm gonna be awake might as well make it a gaming night. :]
This makes alot of sense considering the flashlight attachment, wouldn't be surpried to hear about night-vison goggles/scopes.
The multi-player makes it even better. I can't even finish the single-player because I keep getting back online at the title screen. :]
I'm pretty sure BC2 players ended up getting most of thier content free. A one-time $10 charge is better than having to buy XBL twice a year.
Most of the "haters" are just jaded from buying pretty much the same thing for 4 years now. If nothing is said the series will never evolve.
Its like if McDonalds only served the Big Mac, you may have a valid complaint...
LBP and LBP2 are great games. And believe; his view on the rest of these titles are just as skewed.
I read this and even the games I disliked I couldn't see from his perspective. I just felt like he is bitter over something.
I tried to Gamefly it, but they haven't revived my game I sent back yet. Guess the postman was taking his sweet time this week.
Honestly it could look like Bad Company 2 on the consoles and I would care less. The game-play is what always brings me back to the Battlefield games.
So good, now just waiting for some hands-on articles.
Seems a bit bland, but with a custom background and the pictures filling in all them empty boxes; I could see it coming together.
The new features are a definite plus.
Bring on the Necrons!
Courtesy of Wikipedia: The slippery slope as fallacy
The heart of the slippery slope fallacy lies in abusing the intuitively appreciable transitivity of implication, claiming that A leads to B, B leads to C, C leads to D and so on, until one finally claims that A leads to Z. While this is formally valid when the premises are taken as a given, each of those contingencies needs to be factually established before the relevant conclusion can be drawn. Slippery slope fallacies oc...
MAG should have been on this list, I'd take that over everything but LBP.
I really mean multi-platform, on the PC; modding of that game would've been epic. Shooter far ahead of its time, too bad Zipper dose stuff for Sony exclusively.
Underpowered? Do you need a one-hit kill sniper? Because I find headshots seem to put an opp down. I love the sniping in BF:BC2 and can't wait to go prone. Also they have sniper rifles with semi-auto fire modes.
If not this, I'd put money on E3 2012.
And if not that, they would have to waiting until nextgen consoles.
