SMB2 was a really different game. I couldn't stop playing as Peach since she could hover. I thought that was the coolest power in the game.
I started the first one, never finished it. The wit of the writing started to wear thin. I enjoyed the gameplay though.
It all depends for me. Map packs are usually a waste of money. Then there are the GTA IV stories and Borderlands expansions that really grab my attention.
