The fact that platinum games were taking MS money for Scalebound and using it to develop AA games for other platforms probably had something to do with it. Platinum wanted a chance to make a big AAA blockbuster game. MS gave them that chance and they blew it. Hence why MS will never partner with platinum again and why platinum games will forever be religated to AA niche titles
