Eh, I mostly pirated games before because
1. No demo
2. Spec Check
3. Price too high (biggest one for me)
But with Steam and G2A and me having a pretty strong PC in the meantime, I'd rather just buy the game without having to look for torrents that either take forever, have viruses or malware or all three. People will pay for convenience and Steam and G2A offer that for a very nice price. (20 bucks for Witcher 3? Hell yeah!)
@oSHINSAo
"more developers will come by"
HAHAHAHAHAHA xD
Yeah sure. They would LOVE to not only code their games in the Microsoft store format, not only love to give consumers less options, not only have less control over their games being sold and not only give Microsoft revenue, more so than steam on top of not allowing any mods or giving people more reason to buy their game.
Quantum Break isn't rly exclusive
Neither is Dead Rising 3 or Ryse son of Rome, all of which were very bland IMO
That said, Killzone was just okay
The order. Pretty graphics ... yeah I didn't like it.
I'd actually put Resogun on that list as simple of a game as it is.
But that's more of a PS exclusive rather than PS4 exclusive.
Im just waiting for Persona 5 at this point. (cmon Atlas, I'm in desperat...
Well, after the whole fiasco with blocking games and lack of communication and dedication to make the Oculus Rift an open platform, I'd say. Hell no. Not in your life. I could buy the much better HTC Vive for my PC for all my games.
What do they mean "Xbox interface headed to PC"?
I hope not as part of the windows platform. That sounds aweful. Windows 10 (besides going through personal data like it's nobody's business) is just fine the way it is now, leave it be.
If it's like Xbox app and Microsoft store, well .... I think we all know how that's going.
@kaizokuspy
Given that the PS4 uses familiar hardware and x86 structure, me thinks. Not very expensive.
Heck, people are already getting close to emulate PS4 games, while the PS3 emulator is still wonky
Dude, you think the AI is bad in Uncharted? But not in Quantum Break?
Check this video at 14:37. Almost as bad as Battlefield Hardline

Eejjjjjj, not all other ones IMO
Don't get me wrong, I love Naughty Dog!
But I also love Rockstar, Atlas and CD Project Red.
I would add you Bethesda if only you stopped rushing your games and having your fans fix the game faster and better than you (on pc) >_>
And why (almost) everyone is certain that it will suck yet again -_-
- It's Capcom
Hmm, In wonder if maybe that's part of why Persona is so loved.
It's labeled as a JRPG but the player is CLEARLY the center of it all, the cool kid, gets all the girls, is THE hero of the game.
That said, can't wait for Persona 5! :D
So if past Dice campaigns were bad or mediocre, the best thing is to just say "fuck it" all together and not even bother?
You do know that kind of attitude is what EA prides on? Multiplayer only, barely any more content than we used to get, ... It's fine right? It's Star Wars so it's all good right?

Throughout the article, you never ONCE set an opinion, except at the very end when you talk about Lara Croft. You state it as facts. "Uncharted IS a fraud, Naughty Dog ARE bad developers, Everyone IS wrong". Not to mention that this opinion piece came AFTER the whole Metacritic debacle, it's no wonder why many would come to the conclusion that this is clickbait. And yes, don't point out the irony of me pointing it out while also clicking to actually see the artic...
Ok. I read your article and here is what I have to say
Yes. Not everyone will have the same opinion. That's just impossible and I feel people should be open to discussing, even if something is very well received by general audience. I for one, HATE Shadow of the Colossus, but have my valid points why.
However, after reading your article, it seems you mostly try to wind up fanboys of Uncharted, cause your arguments, including your opening statement, do...
This whole debacle reminds me of the Dragon's Crown thing. For those unaware, that game also got tons of positive reviews on Metacritic, but Polygon gave it an okay review and people were pissed off.
I can understand why people are pissed off, but just really? If anything, this satire review has shown your review will get the most clicks now because everyone is so angry. Even if the problem may be with Metacritic, the satire review still brought in more clicks now.
I honestly don't understand why people do this.
Unless it's a collector's edition with a figurine you can't get any other way, I can sorta understand (though I really feel they should be sold separately).
Are people worried they wont have enough copies? And what about digital downloads? Are people afraid you won't be able to download it later? Just makes no sense to me.
I buy new or digital, but haven't bought a ...
Eum yes?
You should always be skeptical of a game. We don't know how the final product is gonna hold up.
People had this exact behavior for The Division, Destiny, Star Wars Battlefront, Evolve, Titanfall, Battlefield Hard Line, you name it.
Not saying the same will happen per se with this one of course, but there are so little games that actually live up to the hype cause the devs set it up more than it really is.
Good. Fuck anyone cheating in a multiplayer game.
Single Player is fine IMO, go nuts.
I don't even play Halo, but best multiplayer fps in terms of what?
Sales? Player Base? Production values? Single Player? Customization? Presentation? Writing?
Any of these are done better in many other games and with the micro transactions seeping into multiplayer, it only makes it more of a joke. People paid 60 bucks for your game and you are gonna add micro transactions that affect the balance?? And no, I don't care if it's just for 1 mode. That's...
Now Capcom. MAYBE. Just maybe. You should have considered this from the start.
Street Fighter 5 is now know as the Street Fighter game with such a pathetic offering in terms of quantity.
And yes, quality > quantity ofcourse, but what they offered was downright sad and unacceptable.
Hopefully, they learned their lesson.
Dear lord, I hope not
