they fixed the shadows in GT5 yet? I haven't been on it since the first few weeks of launch but I'm interested in the spec 2.0 update.
played Forza 4 demo - very impressed
Absolutely fantastic game, loved playing it and getting the 200 gamer score - glad that PS3 users have a chance to play this game an hopefully Playdead will release the next as multiplatform from the off

Ridge racer was always about speed. Eye watering, balls to the floor, blink and you'll miss the apex that you need to drift through. If they can nail the speed and drift then it's ridge racer.
If they lose the drift then it's going to be the bastard child of Burnout and Need for Speed. Though the game it reminded me most of was Split/Second.

that's silly, I bet there are fewer driving enthusiasts than FPS players so I would assume Reach would sell more, at least in Europe and North America. But Japan? I would imagine that GT5 will be almost 1:1 with consoles previously sold and would generate hardware sales.
I remember buying a PS2 for gran turismo 3 when it came out, if it weren't for Heavy Rain I was going to do the same and buy a PS3 when GT5 came out.
Someone posted on game dot that Argos are also citing september for a release month. These store must have had the nod from someone to put this to print surely?
Asda especially isn't exactly known to promote video games for their own gain. They didn't have Red Dead in stock for about 5 days after launch!
But I bought a PS3 just for heavy rain. i thought it was a fantastic experience just playing the game. I've yet to buy another ps3 title yet though besides the god war collection. Recommendations?
look at it this way budding critics, Wallmart/Asda must have got their release date from somewhere.....
I have both systems but have it coming tomorrow on the 360 due to the amount of friends I have on that system and I am an achievement whore, so multi platform games for me are normally bought with those two factors in mind.
I don't see why all the arguments by fanboys on both sides get so heated. it doesn't matter about the small graphical quality if you haven't the equipment to handle it/take advantage.

I really think this game is a potential blockbuster, the tracks and the way they change throughout the course of the race is awesome. Pre-ordered!
