I bought it and supported much more than my PS2 back in the days. But as soon as water came in they simply abandoned the ship and left it to sink without trying to cover the hole and still supporting it like they should! Microsoft strategy and excuse for losing was first in the market equals victory!

FIRST: Resistance and Ratchet are Sony IPs like Halo is a Microsoft IP!
SECOND: Bungie and Insomniac multiplat decision are based on rough economic times. They need to survive and maximize their revenue. There is no loyalty to a specific brand. Its all about the money. Its a business world we live in.
THIRD: Now anyone can praise Insomniac and Bungie´s games without their fanboyism taking over.
I actually like Patcher but he is becoming too much of a "video-game-celebrity-wan nabe" nuisance to be taken seriously!
I think the only thing that seems to move consoles is advertising. The hardcore knows its stuff and advertisement makes little to nothing on his decision to buy said game or console. The casual market or the ones that dont have enough reasons to buy a PS3 need more excuses to do it. That being games, price drop, features, etc...

Its the race points that does this! Also, this design has put a lot of people off N4G. The old design was simply and intuitive. This one, although equally good, looks way to complex than it actually is. To me this was bad since I use my internet at work and they dont now I use and I cant update to the latest internet explorer. In IE6 this site looks like ****!!
Every timed trphy\achivement have been "cheated" since they were released. Flower had one too but with a week time frame.
Though, "used" didnt aplly here.
By the way, who ever buys this game must really like its style. I hated the first and the demo of the second confirmed a non-purchase for me!

The console war is a fact! Both SONY, MS and NINTENDO are "fighting" for our money. They try to surpass the other by innovating or simply providing better quality products.
The PS3 was treated like the cool kid who is football captain in school but suddenly loses the spot to another kid. The PS2 was respected and everybody loved it! SONY was great, the games were great and even the superior X...
Im still on the fence for this game. I dont know but it doesnt appeal to me. These are the same guys who did Drakengard and boy did that game suck. Nier in Europe seems to be a washed version from one of those of Japan. Replicant is a X360 "exclusive" and Gestalt is a PS3 "exclusive" both in Japan right? Which version is the one for us?!
Not likely! The credit card company isnt responsible. Otherwise I would just give a friend´s of mine my card, reported stolen and later use its account on my PS3.

To me it doenst bother one bit but I do understand how others feel.
I remember when music cds brought a 10 page "manual" with lyrics and the singers bio and stuff and I loved it! Right now its just a thin paper with a photo on the front and a website link in the back saying: "for lyrics and singers info visit www.++++++.com" and I hate that.
Depending on the type of game the manual might have its importance. An RPG game manu...
IW has lost his heart and soul.
Only its the name lives on. This will be enough to milk the franchise for 2, maybe 3 years more. After that its EA´s past all over again. When the competition stepped up for EA they knew they had to change. When FIFA was overshadowed by PES, Medal of Honor vs Call of Duty and NFS vs burnout, EA changed their strategy. They started to develop new IPs and stopped the milking.

Dude, i dont know were you live but these updates take like 5 minutes. From downloading to install.
I ususally get home knowing there´s an update available (internet at work), I turn on my PS3, start the download and go do the things we do when we get home. By the time my chores are done, my PS3 is ready to go!
