1) Entry point price is still to much for anyone not owning an hdtv which is still the majority of the world which in turn shows that even when one has the majority of units moved none of them make even a dent in sales of dves so until the adoption of hdtvs doesnt start the units could be down to 10 bucks each and no clear winner would be seen.
2) Still everybody agrees that content is king, unless most of bluray exclusives go duo the format still has a majority of titles which...
but bluray is part of making a new generation console for them, from ps1 to ps2 they made the jump in all technologies they did the same for ps2 to ps3, one of the aformention technologies was dvd storage which they improved to bluray.
AS you have read from my previous posts i am a solely playstation owner mainly on the i have not infinite supplies of cash to buy all 3. But as i see this sony and microsoft are aiming at two different places for their online services, while sony and home focus more on building a community by sharing media, free minigames use, and clan houses and or apartments, microsoft and xboxlive focus more on the individual player and his gaming needs at least thats the impression i have from playing hal...
But we all know they do not lead in sales
Sorry
Halo Wars maps for Halo3
I love the first and third person mecanics. For my taste i would like to see a little less rolling and more wall hugging but thats just me. Its not everyone cup of tea but there are a lot of people that love tactical shooters such as socom and graw that will give this game a try.
But as i said in my earlier post i prefer metal gear because of the differences between installments. Splinter cell strenghs are mainly its realism and its aproach to stealth but its weakness are its repetiveness and its lack of cohesive storyline. Mgs for its part is better at combat dynamics and overall gaming elements but its weakness are its lack of realism and an over the top expanded storyline.
I for one prefer metal gear since all 4 splinter cell games i played seemed to be exactly the same, which is a complaint i have read to be quite detrimental to the popularity of the franchise. I agree that the second mgs was weird as hell but you could at least notice that you werent playing the first one a thing that does happen in sc until double agent which needed to revive the franchise since it was dying. MGs3 alone is better than the all titles of sc until double agent which i cant comp...
I wonder if the ps3 version will come with a headset ala warhawk?. Would be awesome if it did and it was a custom themed headset.
By the sounds of it the game sounds huge ill be impressed if they manage to reduce it to one disk, then again they could divide it easily by battlezones one for america one for europe and one for Asia.
Another cool thing they could do is make cross platform play depending on your console something like pitting E.U.(Playstation) vs Amer...
Imagine if people can actually convince them to make a remake for ps3
I love we are getting demos weekly, what is Tekken 5 resurrection expansion though?
lets say you dont have a lot of hours at home or you have kids that wont let ypu play it on the ps3 so it makes perfect sense for you to choose the portable version but then again i know its is a flaming comment.
dont know if this is newsworthy but i know its flameworthy :)
What is the problem?
Its an artsy game! Well guess well have to wait it out.
With dbz its like old news anime, when there are so many new impressive animes. Even as a classic i still dont get its popularity, well i guess its just like how people continued to play diablo after passing it more than 3 times.
On the other hand i would love to see a good Gundam seed game since most games still focus on Gundam 79 and most of the cool factor that the mecha design had was lost a long time ago.
I wont miss jean the arc that seems like an awesome rpg by the reviews, Ttabula Rasa because it sounds like mass effect only with the only difference that it is multiplayer (that and i love SCI-FI). And uncharted has been promoted up the wazoo in most sony events i wouldnt miss that title but i see the reasoning why the general public might pass them over at least for a while.
Before fanboys start their flamewars, it got the same score on both versions but the link is directed to the ps3 review.
Blu rya will still need advertising n order to convince the world to trade from dvds to the new format just like when dvd had anouncements on vhs tapes, and there wasnt a format war back then yet they advertised.
