Hopefully it's just for cosmetic stuff. Similar to Team Fortress 2. That way we can differentiate ourselves from others with cool clothing. Then get bonus clothing for pre ordering new games that are similar to the clothes in the pre order bonus game for Ubisoft games in the future. Imaging wearing some Ghost Recon helmet in The Division, or things from Siege in it. Would be cool.
Nothing will help a console unless it gets a physical hardware change. Or the game it's self is updated and better optimized in a later patch.
Good to see SOCOMBATTLES moving on up.
Where is the frequency response graph? :p
Which ever one will have a solid 60fps at 1080p for each game at minimum. Current gen gets up to 60fps, but that's it. It doesn't float around there and drops to 30 and under. Looking at you Battlefield 4 with 900p on PS4 that can't even get over 30fps with a 64 man server...
I think $15 is cheap as it is. Unless you're the type of person to just buy every game that comes out as a collection. I'd gladly pay $60, full price for SOCOM 1 or 2 just as it is with online multiplayer servers. I'm not the only one neither. Hell, I'd pay $120 like most games now days with half of the game as a season pass/DLC cash grab but nobody is mentioning that.
If it runs it's own OS, and a GPU on par with a current GTX 970 than they'd be golden. With an i5, it could potentially run any game thrown at it at 1080p 60fps and actually stay close to it unlike current console games which max out at 60fps but run half that on a constant slideshow when you start adding players. Looking at you Battlefield 4.
Really though, if it could be licensed to play multiplatform games such as Battlefield, COD, and so on and have an i5 in it w...
Was hoping for a PVP type of sandbox game like DayZ in the entire map, with safezones like WarZ. Maybe one day they'll add a playlist like that.
Welcome to Battlefield youngin'
As a long time Battlefield fan, since 2005 with BF2 on both PC and Console. I find that Battlefield has peaked with BF2, then dipped a little until Bad Company started coming around. I feel as if Bad Company 1 helped bring back some of the great gameplay, though polar opposite of what Battlefield 2 was into it's own little pot. A nice pot of great gameplay, and well made maps that were designed for the objectives they were created for. Rush. I'm not the biggest fan of Rush, and don...
Because not everyone sits in a couch to play video games and plays them at a desk 3 feet away? Ultrawides are great for FPS games as you get a wider FOV. Though, the price for such a small resolution is to be the big negative here.
ultrawide 1080p at that screen size is extremely terrible. At that size, 1440p is ideal and this is coming from someone who learned the hard way and never listened to any comments saying otherwise.
Annnnnnd no SOCOM. :'(
Nice to see consoles getting early access to games. Hope to see PS4 get that soon. DayZ, Ark, and many many others I'd like to play on PS4 that I already have on PC too.
Well maybe if SOCOM didn't become the hot garbage it has become, it would still be on par in competitiveness with Halo like it was back in 2002-2003. Halo is still great, and kept the formula. They're still here with thousands of players. Just keep to the roots and you'll be golden.
6700k is overated? It's brand new and hardly anyone even talks about it. More people still talk about the 4790k than this one. I upgraded from a 2500k though and understand there are small increases each gen since sandybridge. Needed the i7 for streaming to my only view. Was going to go with the 5820k but power consumption and ghz were the dealbreaker. I play Arma 3 as well, and needed a faster clock cycle. Yeah, I could overclock, but the power cost is what broke it for me. Having to ove...
Wait. Why? It ran just fine on PC with my 980ti and 6700k with a 1440p ultrawide monitor. :\
Soon
What about Xbox 360 and One? Now. I'm no fanboy, but why isn't a company making a universal wheel? Especially Logitech as they love universal peripherals. Ex. Harmony remotes. Not everyone has money to spend or wants to spend on two different wheels if they have Forza, and Gran Turismo. Just saying.
Is this game anything like DayZ? Going from town to town, looting, surviving, have random gun fights with online players you come across, or anything of that nature? Not sure what this game is about still. hoping it's not just co-op vs AI with occasional pvp like Watch Dogs or Dying Light.
