I've noticed this a lot since SOCOM. The first online shooter game on consoles pretty much, and compared to games worth multi millions of dollars, it's not even skillful. No skill needed in todays games. Aim assist, integrated wallhacks (pulses that will show heat signatures through walls or dots above heads) and so much more. It's so watered down everything is become alike.
If people were smart. They would like Widescreen of 21:9 ratios. Perfect for movies and excellent for video games. Extra sight on left and right parts of the screen, less demanding than 4k, and really no cons about it. 4k is over hyped. Too demanding for video games, and movies are better seen in widescreen on an ultrawide.
New gamers better be better in certain circumstances like reflex and reaction times. Older gamers better be better at flanking, and using team work to take an objection. Depends on the game really. New gamers are faster, older gamers know how to get shit done efficiently.
Gameplay in 2016? HA, people only care about graphics and frame rates now days.
No mention of DayZ? Really?
It's just another zombie game but this one has a horde of zombies coming for you. More so than Left4Dead. Meh.

I hope the XOS and game devs have ultra wide resolutions. That would be really great. Like a true little PC/steambox type of thing that Microsoft is going for. I'd love to play on my 3440x1440 monitor and not be black bar'd.
I'm glad consoles are getting beefier. One day they will beat pc gaming as there will be a lot less hackers, and have power to handle the resolution for a fraction of the cost. Graphics are becoming harder to get better and it's going to level out soon. I have a 980ti and 6700k with a u3415w monitor and only play mmo's and other pve/co op games. Fuck pvp and fps shooters on pc.
The only racing game that is as fun as the days of NFS Underground 1 and 2. Horizon :D
4.1tflops is plenty for 1080p. At 4k it will struggle just like the Xbox Scorpio and current PC's to retain 60fps without serious graphic fidelity downgrades. The tech just isn't here yet at under $1000 for PC 4k 60fps gaming. Anyway, as long as we get true 1080p 60fps I'll be happy on PS4. BF4 has ran like shit with 64 players at 900p 60fps. More like 20fps on Shanghai.
I'm still thankful back in 2003 we had female characters in SOCOM 2 on PS2. :P
