I agree, unless this move by MS dramatically changes Sony's sales than why do anything. Because if they just drop the price automatically then it will appear to some people they don't believe the system is worth the money. Also will seem like they think the only way to beat ms us to be cheaper.
IMO this game was great from the start and they just keep making it better.
You and others should consider that a lot of people who want those games already have an xb1. Admit to yourselves that at least 50-60% of the people wanting a new gears or halo already have the system.
Same can be said for people who want we uncharted or GOW
Yes that will most likely happen in the u.s but ms will never take the world wide sales. That being said ms has made some pretty smart moves lately ( thanks Phil) so sony better bring it at E3 to keep that hype train going

Yup you are totally right there was a console war from the very first generation. Although many people on this site may be to young to remember. It is just highly escalated now because of the internet.
The biggest shortcoming of the wiiu is little to no ad campaign. Which Nintendo has not addressed. I have yet to see a MK8 commercial and really haven't seen any wiiu commercials since last Christmas. And that was terrible " upgrade to the wiiu" and showing Wii sports. Sony and MS never call their new systems an upgrade.

Sony never owned them and the entire time they where making exclusives for sony almost every Xbox fanboy was like " insomniac sucks and they make scrappy games you sony fans can have them, we're glad they don't have games on Xbox." And now they are great and you all love them.

IMO, KZ:SF, I:SS, Outlast, Resogun are great games.
Not to mention a bunch of 3rd party games run better And look better on ps4. And IMO xb1 has TF, DR3, and KI.
Maybe they should start advertising the system and the new games that they have and people will be more excited about the wiiu, which is a pretty good system.
I haven't had any of the reported problems that came with the update, just lucky I guess.
What ms must not realize is that all the consoles are basically available in China already on the black market.
Also the target audience for game companies males 12-36 will not have the time or money to be spending on consoles.
Oh is that why every major retailer everywhere in the world is giving some kind of incentive to people to buy an xb1, or out right dropping the price. While no such incentives exists for ps4, or why ms has stated they are going to slow production of the xb1, and the 360. Because it is selling out , sorry but that's not how it works
Every time a new COD is announced we get a bunch of people talking about how the game sucks or the franchise is in trouble, or how can activison save COD. Then every year COD is the top selling game, or at the very least top 5. Also usually ranks in the top of amount of time players spend playing online. So until that changes the game will pretty much stay the same with few changes.
This is vg charts they are never accurate.
Price point will be the make or break for VR.
If the prices is to high then it won't matter what kind of content it has.
