That would be good for consumers but will be a publishers worst nightmare.A lot of gamers don't go out of their way to read reviews so simply buy the game based on advertising they have seen,friends suggestion or from the game description on the box.
So having an IGN review a click away from the consumer where by the game was completely slated by the press would definitely turn off some consumers from purchasing the game.
