Downloaded it today and IMO it's a good idea.If it turns out to be a popular destination for Halo fans, i hope they do similar stuff for other games.Rock band and Guitar hero would be a good choice for another waypoint and maybe even Forza.But forza would be better if turn 10 have a second racing franchise and they tie the two together to provide more content.
I played a bit of Mass Effect yesterday and the graphical leap based on the videos of ME2 i have seen look to show a huge graphical leap.Hope this game comes out in january.

I am never really bothered about instal base but profit is my main concer for all 3 manufacturers.And since i care about the gaming industry that is the main concern for me.

Actually FOrza has never done very well states side.I think Forza 2 only did like 200,000 in its first month on sale in the USA.Europe has always been the biggest market for sims and Forza 3 seems to be doing well in the UK.
Anyway, i hope it sells very well because the game is truly a masterpiece.
Not really true.Shipping less and selling less are two completely different things.Microsoft shipped 2.2 million this time last year but for all we know they might have sold only about 1.9 million of them.This time, they shipped 2.1 million but they might have sold 2 million consoles.
So unless we know how much they sold, we wont know if the less shipped means less or more sales or just a re adjustment to a more realistic forecast.
Previously rejected but i got in this time.Not really got time to try everything out so far but tried Zune HD and Last FM and they are really great.
I use facebook a lot so it was a welcome addition though it will be better when in the future they allow us to take ingame pics and upload it to facebook.

They have really done a great job with each Forza game. Forza 3 is my most anticipated game of the year and i can't believe i will be playing it by this time tomorrow.
