Ignore the idiot sandwiched in between our comments.Anyway i like EDGE magazine but don't always agree with their reviews, like their 7 for Mass Effect was to low.But i agree with their 8 for Bioshock (the lowest score the game got), the lack of replay value in that game was very off putting.
Sony,Microsoft and Nintendo all track shipped numbers because they only know what they have sold to retailers but not what the retailers sold to consumers.And if you say it is a lie, ask yourself this question,Why do they respond to NPD if they already know what they sold to consumers?

I have played extensively, 16 of those titles.I know it's not much but it ain't bad.Anyway, cool list.A lot of games i have respect for are there but there are a few notable omitions.
I am a big Lawn Tennis fan now and i owe it all to Virtual tennis.I played the Virtual Tennis arcade machine at sega world Christmas 2000,loved it, bought it for Dreamcast.Before that i had no knowledge of the rules or even the slightest interest in Tennis.
Personally, i would remove remove the sports game and add Shenmue.Apart from that the rest are great.
NG2 is a great game and in my opinion has the best combat in any adventure game.As for Ninja Blade, i will pass judgment on it tomorrow when the demo is released.And if i like it, i will but it.
A lot of my friends hated NG2 because of the difficulty.

I generally agree with you but this post was just wrong in every way.I am black but can't stand hip-hop and what i feel it represents but as heyheyhey pointed out there are quite a few good ones that don't conform to the stereotype that you just pointed out.
I have a few friends in west Africa who are hip hop artists.Their lyrics are clean,non-derogoratory and respectful to women.ANd best of all their clothes fit.

I like cutscenes as well as long as the story is great and they are done properly.Lost Odyssey is one of my best games this gen but i have to admit some cutscenes were just too long ie the burial section.WHen a cutscene comes up it should be advancing the story in a significant way and telling you vital info that you would not have known other wise.
