Well what can they say?It took just one E3 press conference from Microsoft to silence the haters.Look at Forza 3,that game blows every single 360 game out of the water and Turn 10 said that there is still juice left in the 360 for them to improve on and i have no reason to doubt them considering the game and engine where made in just under 2 years.

The reason Remedy Games showed Alan Wake at E3 2005 was because they were looking for a publisher for the game.They could not develop and publish the game because Remedy is a small company made up of around 35 people so getting a partner to publish and fund development by showing it at E3 was the only way to go.
Microsoft seeing the public reaction to the game quickly snatched publishing rights in 06 and kept the game out of the media until it was ready.
EDIT: I am not sold on Section 8 at all.It looks like another generic shooter but i might be wrong.
Before E3, my wait for this game was becoming unbearable but the release of Shadow Complex,Forza 3,L4D 2, Splinter cell: Conviction,Halo ODST,Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Need for Speed Shift will keep me occupied till this masterpiece comes out.

It's called LIFT when you use biotic powers to lift people off the ground.Even if you do that they can still get up but if you have good soldiers by your side, you can shoot them before they land killing them instantly but that also depends on how strong your weapons are..
