Theres is no rivalries between SONY and MICROSOFT. SONY supports MICROSOFT in some ways and MICROSOFT supports SONY in some ways.

The same thing was said about the PS2 having a Dvd.'no one needs Dvds, this and that.' As years passed, Dvd Was a necesity. And eventually Ps3 will need Blu ray. Right now there isnt one game that fully takes advantage of the BLU RAY. But on the future it will need it.
Dvd is good right now for the 360 but wont be enough in the future. Dev are already having problems with the disc capaticy.
What im trying to say, Next Gen consoles need Next Gen media. Period.

Now we can all watch Hi def movies on the same format. I was pissed when Transformers only came out on HD DVD ,so I had to buy the DVD, but now i can enjoy all the movies I want on Hi Def on one format.
So Its actually a win for most us and wont be confusing the consumer(trust me, theres dumb people in the world we live, that dont kno what there buying).
Is Halo 3 really that good? I play Halo one and didnt like as much as you guys say (Im more of a SONY guy). But Wow! 8.1 Million!! Thats crazy. Maybe Ill buy the 'ULTIMATE XBOX360' along with a copy of Halo3 and Gears of war 2(when it comes out).

Ps3 beat xbox 360 by 60k on worldwide sales. Not bad. Good news for the PS3 i think...or bad. But the wii is still strong. I really dont care who wins the war. Its pointless to me. As long as I get to play the games i want, its all good. No need to be a fanboy.

Im dissapointed too, but i think were starting to get spoiled. We get mad when we dont get content. I remember back in the days, when i had a ps2, ps1, n64 and etc. i didnt check every thursday to see if we had downloable goodies.
My point is dont get mad when this thursdays suck. Atleast we have thursdays to look foward to. Its better than not having nothing.

but im prety sure not everybody knows the 40gb PS3 cant play PS2 games. With so many different SKU , it going to confuse people. Dont get me wrong, im not bashing on the PS3 but its the truth.
