If a F2P game is allowed cross play on all systems, not only does it allow a much larger number of users playing the game and keeping it alive for allot longer, it also keeps the game on the system's as well which in return will help whatever system it's on to profit from it.

For a day 1 consumer, it really is a good deal even for a month. it allows new buyer to play games right away and if they really like them they get a discount, so even if you don't stick with the service you at the least get a taste of the library they have built up since release.

True, adding the hardware into the system would have spiked the price up back when it was released, specially what you would probably need just to get PS3 games to run on it. I'm actually surprised that this game is coming to the Switch honestly. It's easy to tell that they had to REALLY turn down the graphics on this port, but still it's a nice surprise to see on the Switch, specially with friends.

I don't understand Sony's reasoning anymore. They will let Rocket League and Fortnite do cross play, mostly because they could probably turn a bigger profit with those titles, yet with stuff like Wargroove, Paladins, Smite, Minecraft and many MANY more wanting to do cross play they'll just deny them not because their smaller games or 'their dying games' as some have claimed for Paladins, but because their on top on the so called ' console wars' right now.

I kind of have to agree oddly enough. I heard allot of people talk about how bad some of the bugs and performance, but beyond that everyone I spoke to who tried it really enjoyed the game it's self.
I hope when the game is released the performance issues we had during the demo have been fixed and keep to a minimum to let the gameplay shine cause there's allot in this game I really enjoyed.
